is this what people ment by X L/100KM???***EDIT*** To add some other factsAlso as i previously jot down for the past 6 weeks... filled up PETRONAS ONLY RON 95 (extra type?)RM100 x 6 = 415 KM (Average of 6 weeks) Im a heavy right footer and got stuck a lot in traffic in the morning for at least 20 minutes... and when its free i usually hantam the pedal to reach 100-120KM and always drop gear when i feel too long at stationary... Not sure if its the K&N or my new Pulleys or Water Pump or Using BMW Ori Coolant + Deions water or the new radiator top hose or the new Belts both AC and Serpentine.... unless checking all the engine with INPA and BMW Scanner 1.4 actually do anything...

ur setting is for X km for every litre usage...so, if 6.8km/l, for every 50 litres ur car can go only 340km. For every 50 litre, if u pump ron 95, u'll be spending around RM95 for 340km..that is RM0.27 per km

U have the scanner, can change the setting to L/100km...for me its easy to calculate

6.8 KM/L is equivalent to 14.7 L/100KM.

That is very high FC.. Normally should be around 9.6 to 10.6 L/100KM.

Alternator is fine... something to do with my higher voltage of battery to play Sound System... Its been like that since last year when i start to play ICE...

The HID warning ive mentioned before... i might be buying this one:

BTW so based on the calculation i'll be using 14.7L/100KM WOW... super burning in my posket i envision...

My E38 is around 13L/100km..

The light warning can be canceled from the scanner...i untick mine for the low beam check light as using the xenon...

btw, what is ur battery voltage?

battery voltage is ok... around 12++V and Alternator is around 14++V only the amp (ICE Use) that is the killer... will fix that soon... BTW MY alternator is Bosch 70-120A

Last time mech says my Battery is 140A ka i forgot but its something like that so the warning came out... my alternator charging just fine just some glitch im yet to fix...

Now from your meter it was 6.6L/km then it was much-much higher FC then mine. As Jarance said it should be 9.6 to 10.6 L/100KM.

Seem our alternator was diff brand, mine was Valeo brand and yours are Bosch. Btw u can send your alternator to check at Jln Kolombong near trafic light opposite Giant Hyper Market just next to a spare parts shop.

Yeah got 1 uncle there... but still no time to leave the car to be check... maybe soon these days... the uncle did a Volt check he say everything cun but have to really see lor he says...

Base on your RM100 x 6 = 415 KM (Average of 6 weeks) assuming u are using Ron95 = $1.90/ltr, so your FC was 12.68L/100km = 0.24cents/km lar..consider high my friend.

Well, i just reset adaptation and BC display to L/100KM so after about less tan 20km driving FC = 17.8L/100KM wakakak wait till i drive further la then i know the exact...

Your meter only show Km/L not L/100km provided u din't change yours not like the UK spec and local CKD spec they are L/100km show.

I believe the closer accuratecy method to calculate your FC was the 6 time average u did mention b4.
