The E39. I have a end-of-the-line 525i in Biarritz Blue. It's an original AB unit which I bought off its first owner. It runs like a dream, and so far it hasn't given me any problems.
Of course the first service when I took it over was a bit painful on the wallet - 3k worth of parts & fluids, but since then it hasn't missed a beat. Small price to pay for the grin it puts on my face every morning when I start her up and hear the N54 purr.
Will be sending my car to Weng Seng next month to have the paintwork sorted out. Some minor dents here and there. After which I don't foresee why I would want to sell this car....ever...
