today, i followed the guide....shiok....
1) can use digital speedo now...when speedo dial shows 80kmh, my digital shows 75kmh, slight difference
2) can view engine running temperature, when car is moving, it's about 84 celcius, when stationary, it's about 91 celcius. - I wonder if do remap the temperature shown here will be higher? Sifu/bros know?
3) ambient temperature is 28 celcius today
4) charge is at 13.8V when moving, 13.6V when headlights on, 13.5V when foglights on, 13.5V when stationary, 13.2V when lights on and stationary. Charge is stable at 13.8V regardless of rpm.

Try this method and see:

Hold down the km reset button and turn the key to first position (radio on) immediately release the button.
You will see a small display where the time/temp etc. usually appears.
Sequential presses of the button steps through this menu ie. 1,2,3,4,5 etc. up to about 21.

Hey I tried it and it works..thanks. However they are all in some sort of codes/numbers and I can't understand them haha..

Oh that....forgot to mention....it simply means that you're locked out from gathering any data from the test. That's because it's either never been unlocked before or some resetting has taken place...therefore it goes into the lock mode.

Fret not. You can always unlock it anytime. What you need to know before hand is your VIN number. Just the numbers....it consists of 5 digits only. Say for instance your VIN # is BV12345. Sum up the numbers (1+2+3+4+5=15).So 15 is the magic number here! When you cycle through LOCK 01, 02, 03....do that till you reach LOCK 15 and press the RIGHT button. VOILA! You just unlocked the test.

Now try again...you'll be able to cycle through the test menu with nomore LOCKouts!

This is good. thanks for sharing.

Park light is used to indicate your car is parked at the road shoulder, corner of a junction or when the butt is jutting out at times when the need to simply champak the car in one corner arises (when parking is a B****!) AT NIGHT!. To indicate others you have parked your car there and don't come slammin in the A**!

Park light is activated when you hit your turn signal stalk either to the left or right AFTER switching off your engine.
