Its 15K km but the OBC(on board comp) recalculates if there's a problem with the car, hard driving, and calls you in sooner. Maniac bro tells me that even if the service warning hasn't come on but if you have already done 12K km since the last service, they are obliged to service your car.

I guess i must hv driven pretty hard that now my OBC is calling for first service at 8k. Ive done about 4.2k now with the first 2k break-in mode (rpm

Wah why so high. Mine 11.5L to 11.6L mostly city drive.

I also don't know why :( Normally I get stuck in the jam around KL, nowadays traffic here is getting from bad to worse.

Hey guys. How are your 320d doing so far? Any major or minor issues, especially related to the transmission, engine, catalytics converters and etc?

Hi and Salam to All

After reading these threads, it appears that my Nov 09 320d has burned the most tarmac. To be precised, as of today, the clock shows 59,120km. I drive hard most of the time because so many Perodua Myvies like to " cucuk cucuk" me on the Highway.

So far, I consider the car to be very good except that I wish the seat has got lumber support adjustment. I suffered back ache after a long drive. Sometimes the driver's side door gave squeeky sound but it was sorted out by Seong Hoe Premium. Both tailed lights failed and were replaced recently.

Not everything is perfect on this model but for me its the most satisfying BMW I ever own. ( previous ownership E39 and E53 ). What other cars can give us performance and fuel economy? I m naive.

Maybe there's one guy who beat you on mileage. He is cklein-probably 80,000km by now-last we heard he almost reached 60,000km and that was 2months ago-he travels a lot outstation-in Sales line.

Did you get a final free service at 59,120km, din Husnia bro?

Very true on the backache... did some research on how to retrofit the lumbar support, but cost too much..requires pneumatic pump, pad etc..

but got a solution for it.. hehe... my back now feels much better..... :)

ya, long distance is a big NO-NO. Unless u whack it above 170kph all the time. Guess adrenaline took over the discomfort. I'm not complaining, hehe
