Hi Zarcon! No twin muffler in the Power Kit package-but its a good investment I think adding a bit more money for the twin muffler. Then it actually sounds like a sportscar! It already drives like one-we know that, even without the Powerkit.

Still awaiting my powerkit to arrive. Apparently its coming direct from Germany and is locked onto my chassis number. And yeah, it does not come with the twin muffler, but still thinking about it now and negotiating with dealer. :)

It's available officially already? How do we get about ordering? How long is the waiting? Price and full specs? Would you have the price for the twin muffler too? TQ

Sign!! I was looking forward to getting it but mine's pre Mac 2010 so I guess I can't install it.. Been following up with post but pretty bombshell about it. After BSRI I guess I'll rechip it

i must say this car is amazing...foot down and it really has explosive acceleration...a 325i seems sluggish after driving a 320d..

No problem lah-mine's Dec 2009 and can Powerkit it. They will send your chasis number to Germany to check-ask your S.A. to check for you-they need your chasis/VIN number.

Hi all sifu's,

I discovered some specs and spots of black soot mixed with oil on the floor of my driveway near where the exhaust pipe of my 320D is pointing. I think the soots are ok but the oil? Seems like it's coming from the exhaust. Is this normal? Any ideas? Thanks.

Zarcon,

Hello, I have 2010 320d and i also would like to install the power kit. Can you please PM to me your contact where you bought the kit? Thanks! I cant seem to get in contact with the right person at AB or QUILL about this product

Thanks!

bro, no one's given you any feedback yet, let me try.
in my opinion, it could just be some condensation with the soot. i would not be worried about it, unless you're seeing a drop in your engine oil level, or seeing some major smoke coming out of your exhaust, which could indicate leaky seals/rings letting engine oil into your combustion system. experiencing loss of power is another sign. hope this helps.

Thanks for your prompt response Maniac,

You may be right on the condensation thing. Cause just got back from Subang. Exhaust seems dry, no oil. No experience in loss of power nor visible smoke. The oils level is still at "max" level. Had my wife pressed on the throtle and me watching the exhaust pipe from the back when at home. Dont seem to see anything, no smoke nor oil. But will be on a look out especially in the morning. Will post any findings. Thanks again.

You'll get used to driving a diesel now!! It part of the experience. Sooth and black smoke emitting from a diesel car. Its pretty normal!! Otherwise it isn't a diesel.

I heard of a story recently. My friend is a proud owner of a pre reg 320d. He said when he test drove the car he was awed at the power and adrenaline of the car. I told him of the car performance but then he said the Merc was better due to the 7G gearbox and Audi was good too bla bla. He went on to mention that the salesman ask him to be careful as he recently had a nasty accident due to the driver who took out a 320d to test drive and whack it into the tree.

The salesman was fuming and ask the driver to go for additional driving lessons. The driver said he didn;t expect the car to be that fast therefore he lost control. It shows the awesome power of the 320d or a mean machine in an idiots hand!!
