Group Buy: Pedal Box Throttle Enhancer

Had a little more time with my new DaTUK-ship today. My settings were preset to map 3 + 10% as recommended by the guys. While performance was hugely noticeable, I've also notice the engine runs coarser and louder compared to stock.

kuntakinte, my experience as well which I've posted about some months ago. One way to avoid the coarser sounding engine is to use Euro5 diesel which is why I borong a few cans anytime I go down south. The engine note becomes noticeably smoother and quieter with the DTUK on vs without but there's no difference before I did my DTUK.

I love DTUK Map 3 in combo fit with Pedal Box on Red Sports settings with 3 Red lights on!

Boy, adding PB to my ride is really cool making a real difference over stock. The kick is addictive with the inline 6, she's very eager and willing to please me now! Fuel consumption...who cares?? hehehe.

Will be playing with the settings to get the sweetest spot. In addition, car feels lighter from go and now have to adjust foot pressure on accelerator.

Verdict:- really fun stuff! :4::4::4:

sports mode; this alone will knock most peoples socks off when put on the 320d. literally you feel that you are driving another car. the change is very noticeable even with a light press of the throttle. i will settle on this for most of my day to day driving.

sports plus mode; well if the sports mode is good then this is even better. car responds very quickly up to the extent i am probably too chicken!@#$ to use this as a day to day setting for fear of banging into someone.

eco mode; feels like your normal 320d but slightly better response. not much difference really until revs are up.

well not much for words coz you gotta feel it to believe it.

but maybe this will help. like I said feel it.

got the pipercross in this morning. so it took ngam ngam one week to arrive from order. cost around rm215 inclusive of delivery from http://www.thepipercrossshop.co.uk/

local disti quoted rm398 if i m not mistaken but no stock.

just put it in. now to merempit to see the effects.

Theoretically, since pedal box increase the car's throttle response, does it mean it will increase its acceleration time (0-100km/h)? Or not?

Bro, yup it fit in pretty snugly just like the oem filter. Its around half the depth of oem.

In terms of difference of performance it is very subtle at low revs but did notice just now that engine is idling a bit lower rev count. When flooring can feel a bit more push at high revs and engine seems to breath better.

Either way you got to change the filter every 40k i think and mine was up to change anyway.

Gonna have to gatecrash the next PB handing over session. Tried to install my DTUK this afternoon but for the life of me could not get the connectors off. Fail ..... :motz:
