Use, RM0.90 masking tape to ensure the line before fixing..

Then fit the Tape lor

I hope the picture helps for guys who didn't understand what this tape all about. End results, no more creaking noise for me.

I got this tape installed at AB when i complain on the creaking sound back in 2007...at first it works but after while it came back...was told something to do with the silicon in the car shampoo that is used here...so once a while i clean it with silicon remover solution and never had any issue since just some inconviniences...

I had a DIY solution on my car after experimenting and reading up plenty of articles from google. What I did was to use some Velcro + silicon spray and it help to stop the creaking noise. However, you will need to re-spray the silicon spray periodically (every time it starts creaking again) Velcro and silicon spray can be bought at ACE hardware. It works for me and you can give it a try too.

Contrary to your experience, did mine back in 2009 and it is still good till now. I paid 500 though
