GB for OBD-II Scanner - for E46/E39/E85/E83/E38

I just check on this BMW Scanner website and found out that its published price is US$6XX. I am really grateful to Jarance for this group buy and save us hell lot of money...Many many thanks again to Mr. Jarance and also on his great help in software and guidance.

Price is dropping everyday lar. I just have somebody informed me via PM that he got his scanner for RM101.
I hope he will start a GB and those who are interested can save more money.

Good new guys. I just found the scanner are sold at USD49 at OBD2.com. The price is inclusive of shipping.
It was priced previously at USD75.

There is always some risk involve when dealing with online purchase. Before I start the GB, I try one piece
first to test the reliability of the company. Of course before I transfer the money, I search for any bad feedback
from the general public.

To arrange a GB, people have to know you personally before they are willing to part their money.

I have started a new GB for the K+DCan USB cable here. This cable have been tested and it work
with BMW INPA under win7-64 bits. It is more advance program but however please be warned it
is not recommend for the novice.

For those who still want to order the scanner 1.4.0, you can also order it at the same thread.

Note: For those who want the setting of the USB driver for Win7-64bits, I have make the
setup procedure. It was tested by hky and he confirmed that it works.
This procedure (pdf format) is only for those who are in the GB. For those who are not in the GB,
you can ask your friend in the GB to ask for it.

Bro, yes you can. The cable one end is plugged to your laptop, the other end to the Scanner, with your engine running, you can view live data. But not sure if this live data can be saved or not, as I haven't tried so yet.

The problem with scanner 1.4.0 is that not all bmw can be scanned and have live data. This is due to the limitation of the program.
It was written and tested for "certain" model. However, the developer did not get fully covered all modules.

with the EDIABAS, you can opt to run GT1 (emulate mode) or INPA. Both of these program are developed by "BMW" and covered
all models and most modules. The programs have been hacked to enable it to run on a PC.

So far, I managed to run INPA which is window based. Setup is a bit of a hassle but there are online step by step instruction.
Since it is an "old" program, certain program like NCS expert (for coding) cannot run on my 64bits win7 as it a 16bits program.

I do my coding using the scanner 1.4.0 and watch live data on the INPA.

Since INPA have more LIVE data, it will help the user to analyse the car better. However, for those who are not familiar with
the engine or other module function, it will be just meaningless numbers on a computer screen.

Based on the feedback of the scanner, some of the guys car did not display any live data.
