Actually, I have a spare adpator but not worth to send to you cos the adaptor is RM9 and poslaju is RM10.. Ha.. ha..

Come for official TT next Friday to collect lar.

My oil temp is just short of 97 C. Perhaps you did your scan right after a long/hard drive.

No. It was running idle for about 15 minute with the aircon ON. taken around noon if I am not mistaken.

I will capture the screen the next time. Since our cars are of the same model and age, we can compare. I am interested to know the software version of your DME and EGS ( i see in the log , mine was updated end of 2005 by the AB).

My car cannot view the live data. Its an E38 year 1996.

And sometimes i do get this message "Hardware not ready" and the scanning process will hang. Have to restart the software, unplug the cable and take out the car keys in order to make it going again...but it's just sometimes only.

Master, can advise? Many thanks....

Yes.. Your original built was Sept 03 and the update was Dec 05. Now you make me jeles.. LOL

I wonder whether your software can be copied or flashed from your DME/EGS to mine.

i am going to ask daiichi about his. I know his aircon is default to re-circ mode which he got it done at the SC.
Will try to download his setting and reflash it to my aircon module. It too risky to play around with the DME/EGS
without knowing what will happen during reflashing.

This also happen to me as well. Either the scanner is not plug in properly or the USB cable at the scanner side
becomes loose.

My case is the USB cable at the scanner side is causing the problem as my leg tends to pull the USB
cable away from the socket while I are looking at the laptop and concentrating on the data.

Most workshops with a GT1 can do the software update.

I got my Engine and SMG ECU software updated before.

Yeah, that workshop did it free for me

The GT1 can even re-adjust the clutch gap for SMG2.
