Hi, this happened to me quite recently. I was on my way to Malacca around 11 a.m . I was driving my other car, a Hyundai Sonata 2.4. A few km before the Seremban toll, I i saw a e39 in front of me. I caught up with the e39 and soon we were travelling around 160-170km/h. The guy just would'nt let me overtake him. hmmm...maybe its about his pride. and suddenly from the left side a honda accord with senior passengers overtook both of us. I'm very sure that they are constructions workers by the look of their dress, hat etc. What was the embarrassment? It was a honda accord of the 80's the one with round headlights. :beaten: It look so beaten up but yet .... luckily i was in my sonata pheww.. as for the other guy he stopped at the R&R after senawang.. he must have stopped to curse himself  .

Bang,
i used to own that Honda lampu bulat wan..
but i merely wont overtake BM's at 160 - 170 KM/h..
Its onli 1600 cc but very comfortable then..
hehe.. i shld feel proud oso.. :D btw..dun feels embaressed mah..
mebe at that time u are at 120KM/h?

regards..

Maybe that Honda had a different "heart"? No more the 1600cc engine?

My most embarrasing moment? Stopped by the roadside with my hood up! All because of a rotten hose clip. And seeing the drivers / passengers of passing cars looking at me. Worse yet, back home, my neighbour remarked.... oh that was you.... At least he could have stopped to help me. :(

remembered another one... just could not shake off a wira (most probably with an evo engine) tailgating me on the way south even driving at around 165km/h (the most, my sane mind will allow me). Not that the wira was powerful that i'm embarrassed of, but the fact that the driver was a female with tudung. to add salt to the already bloody wound, the car overtook me from the left side... ahh that was bad :( .. even my wife was smiling cynically at me :nyehehe: . Told her i've to consider the safety of the family :D

my most embarrassing moment i had on the road was,

car broke down right after sunway toll, (still in the lanes), on a working day in the morning, during the typical Motorola traffic jam.

I just cant believe it that time, i kept on saying to myself, this cant be happening, telling my car, please move baby move it!! dont stop Right in the middle here... Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee........ and it just died right there

so there i was, stucked in one of the lanes, managed to push my car a little bit to the side of that lane (i'm still in the middle of the road technically)... and quickly got back into my car... and waited for my towcar to come... man, some ppl were nice, some ppl were not...some showing me their middle fingers, some showing me faces. i mean what the heck can i do?? ... worse of all, some nice chick drove pass and stared at me.. sigh~ ahhaha.

To add salt into the wound, my colleague in office was telling me about a very bad traffic jam in Sunway toll that morning.. and Hitz FM was reporting about it..apparently a car is stucked in the toll lane. dang!!..

So from that day onwards, i take NKVE to PJ if i'm late to office, just dont want to risk going into the same situation in traffic jams hehe.

 yeah..had this puzzling experience while when i still had my m3.i was on the highway from usj on the way to kelana jaya doing a 150kph cruise when this silver waja came behind me flashing his lights to pass through.my mistake, wasn't monitoring my rear view so i let him pass while waving my hand in apology.
he sped away and out of curiosity i followed suit..wasn't tailgating him but followed from far maybe 50m behind.he was increasing his speed and to my surprise we were doing 190-200kph in no time.being in an m3 i wasn't troubled but was quite surprised that i was behind a very standard looking waja complete with 1.6 rims.noticed one thing though..his tailpipe was a twin setup.my guess is he's got a MIVEC lump up front.a sleeper of sorts to surprise unsuspecting mortals i guess.cud be a 4pot 1.6 or 1.8 hybrid MIVEC or better still a 2.0 V6 MIVEC from the FTO.driven one of these and boy are they fast!
nice 'un....

I always hit 200km/h in my stock standard waja 1.6 but manual. Not even K&N filter. But have to turn off aircond. One time, did it even with 5 of us kerbau size adult in the car. Nothing special what, unless my speedometer is wrong.

huh, waja is fast , i tot onli my 318 being tailgate by a waja , and i have the same thought as supergripen . those wajas are stock standard from the outside view .

car speedos tend to have some error in them especially at higher speeds but i do admit the manual waja is a fast car..actual speed might be in the region of 180-190kph.its not the speed that this particular one can attain but the rate at which it reached 200kph that caught my attention hence my assumption that its a non standard engine..

toyota vios also very fast dun play play... Use to go genting racing with friend with all modify car.. That time drive 1.8mivec satria the standard vios can follow us from behind really shocking !! amaze

That I can testify to.

Whenever I drive my wife's Vios, I smoke heavily modified wiras and satrias all the time. Above 4000 rpm, the car is just a bullet, especially at anything below 150 kmh.

At high speed, it may not be able to match 6 pot Bimmers. 318 on the other hand, does not stand a chance.

Last night ~2am, I was in JPB's E46 325i, and a silver Toyota Wish blew by us on the left lane. JPB chased the MPV, flying past the CIMB road heading to Bangsar.. Wish was driven bloody, fast (never seen an MPV driven that quick), leaning big time through the corners... JPB could not catch it in his BMW, before we parted at the Dsra Heights/Bangsar junction (he was driving damm fast as well)... :p
