Please advice,
I just 2nd tried the E90, I feel the acceleration abit delay when the car totally stop and full press the accelerator
The explanation from salesman:
When the fuel almost empty, it will limit the fuel supply and cause the car less power.
It's correct ?
And if Plug coils and valvetronic happening, computer will appear ?

All sifus,im seeking for some advise:

Currently owe a 2007 E90 n I presume is a N46 engine n having water leakage problem now. Sent to a workshop to diagnose. According to the mechanic the bolts inside the engine r broken n cause the water leak out. The mechanic gave two options:
1. Drill a bigger hole to replace the bigger size of the bolts. Cheaper n is around 2k to 3k. But not sure can sustain for how long?

2. Change another secondhand engine. But it costs about 10k to 12k. Is it worth to do?

Is there another 3rd option for me?

get another opinion bro.. take the car to a different mechanic and see what they will say. You will get a different reason/solution and a different price. then decide

Thanks bro azal33 n bro gendong. Unfortunately they already dismantle the engine. Don't think can shift to another workshop.

My heart with you bro..
that is the workshop way of holding you from the "balls". Now you have no escape but to fix with them at their price.

Happened to me once that my E90 was leaking oil from the oil filter cap, the shop forced me to change the cap itself @ RM220. Later i found out that he could change the seal only that comes with the filter and shouldn't cost more than RM30.

Up to date, i DIY everything in my house. Buy spare parts from Bavarian Auto Parts and fix at home.

Sounds like a wiring malfunction. You might want to take your ride to a specialist and get it checked.

Hi, i seldom post but here goes -
Owned the 330i since end 2016 and done about 12k KM to date. top up twice (1 lit) Castro Edge inbetween the 10k KM. Battery changed to DIN100 last oct - delkor.

Servicing done last month which consists of -
Castrol Edge+filter
Valve cover gasket (minor leaks)
1 coil busted
Main belt
Power steering reservoir cap gasket (nasty leak)
BC Racing V1
Motorsports Hardware stud conversion

Next 2 months prolly new tires front and rear and also ordered a waterpump kit.

Did the muffler delete - blardee regret, gonna put back in an aftermarket muffler soon. Too loud for me.

Other than that, very very happy with the ride so far.
