I know that on my E90 323i LCI, the bi-xenon headlights work only on the 2 outer headlights (same for high/low beam). But what puzzled me was when I looked into the inner 2 headlights of a E93, there were actually halogen bulbs in them ??! (the outer headlights were also bi-xenons). The dealer proceeded to tell me that on a 323i that he sold, the customer actually came back to tell him that AB managed to get the center (inner) 2 headlights to work. We fiddled around the light switches and idrive but couldn't turn those headlights on for either car.Is this true ? I've always thought the 2 inner headlights were there for "cosmetic" reasons...Any idea how to activate them and what are they for ?? Driving lights ? High beam ?? On the E93, with the halo rings lighted up, the bulb in the inner headlights could be clearly seen. On my 323i, they were dark and I couldn't see whether there was a bulb in them... should get a torch and shine in to see !
