Schwepps: Golly, I do think grey would work better with aluminum. Get Monaco Blue, it'd go great with the grey.

My thoughts too. That's why I'd like to have a look at it in grey seats, maybe at another showroom. A panda effect with the black headliner may work. Lack of time right now though, just got back to a LOAD of work. A day here and there doesn't make any diff anyway: there are no units available right now and there's already a waiting list.

Monaco Blue looks almost black even in bright sunshine, and you know how I feel about black cars.

Psst...I hear JPB may be gay!

Oh well, don't you think Juan Powerblow sounds gay enuff and there's this thing among forumers that I like to "tiong" a lot, particularly Alfas and Audis. To add to that, I just changed my order to Arctic with Gay...oooops, Grey interior again to arouse the gravest annoyance of my salesperson. Why? Besides being the first 2007 Coupe in Malaysia, it's the "unexpected" choice and life needs that sometimes! It's the 21st century, the era of metrosexuality, hahahahaha!!!

He is so gay I had to remove my old nick Bunjee Jumper and stop going to HH Part Deux coz BJ and Powerblow just can't be seen and HEARD together........

Thanks BJ! I'm still trying to erase from memory that incident at HH Part Deux when some prick introduced us to chicks as Powerblow and BJ!

Anyways, I realise I've hogged enough attention here over my colour choice dilemma but a final decision had to be made, and I've made it. I was in fact motivated by Arctic on the Coupe being highly unique. While the SG is awesome too and certainly at first glance, there's that thought that it might not be that great a deal 3 years from now. Instead, ppl might find John's car in that colour that looks green... no, blue.... no, it's silver lah..., no lah it's white a time conquering talking point. So, thanks for all your feedback guys! Truly appreciate it! Now, let's move on and bludgeon Schwepps on what he can do with his E90!

Bludgeon? Schwepps? Then I have to weigh in la... :)

My choice is simple...just need to see if grey seats go with the brushed alum and anthra headliner. Does anyone know if there is a Sports like that in the other showrooms?

For what it's worth John, I saw the Arctic on the used 330i sitting in ABGlen and it's a very pretty silver. It brings out the lines of the car very well. It will appeal to all corners of the sexual divide...y'know: silver/green/blue/white...however you see things...very metrosexual. Hahahaha! :D

No - kidding aside, it's a good colour and will be unique. An E92 should be unique. Good choice I reckon, JPB!

I also think it's time to do an informal E90s get-together, particularly for those involved in this thread. All course, it's open to all UDM owners. I would have loved to time this with KL2DC being back in Kay El (unless for some reason he left KL and can never come back, like for courting the top cop's chick behind his back for eg.). I was thinking an event in Souled Out would be nice!

Sounds good! If I remember, KL2DC said he'd be coming back in Dec, and then Mar. Keeps delaying. Dunno lar... Maybe he's been living in Sri Hartamas all this while! :)

Sounds good guys...Hopefully this get together will be held on a weekend because I travel to our neighbor down-south every week until May '07 :(

So now that all the meterosexual and color issues have been sorted out, will we have 2 signing ceremonies/key-hand-over ceremonies then? :D

LOL :p

I must mirror JP's comments. I think we've all gelled quite well with this thread...:)

Schwepps, I went for grey dakota leather on mine. It should be delivered by early April, so if you wanna have a look you can wait till then :)

Had a tough time deciding between that and black too. Black's more practical and even after many years still will look black. Whereas grey... just take a look at any used BMW out in the parking lot :)

However what really swung it was the look, bearing in mind especially the anthracite headlining. Black and black is "okay", but the grey and black combo really gives it good contrast.

The first 325i Sports AB Glenmarie had was a Monaco Blue one with they grey interior. Saw this in the early weeks when they didn't allow test drives. Not sure where that went, as the one they have on display now has a black interiror.

I've attached some photos from BMW UK's car configurator. It looks a lot better in real life, so get AB to let you see one in grey before deciding!

Still avoiding the question of when you'll be in Kay El, I note!

Woo Hoo Party over at Schwepps house! :p

Seriously, I can't say...I'm supposed to go this month, trying to clear up schedule.

I know David Yong is eager to know, I planned to meet up with him to trade a set of blacklines for euro taillights (with the amber signals). I'm thinking of a lighter colored car for the next one...;)

Will keep you guys posted either way...

Damn, this thread really crack me up...:D . Juan Powerblower (whoops), can't wait to see your car when it comes out. Hmm, it might not be hard to single out your car now....:D :D . Just make sure you don't drive it to those ahem areas.

Didn't you learn anything reading this thread, flash? :) If your car is seen parked in a dubious area you just say "I went to a wedding there mah..."

Now file that under 'Escape Clauses' together with: "Oh, let me introduce you to my neice" and "I'm just checking this club to see whether my son's friends hang out here" I'm new to this but JPB probably has 1MB of them :)

OT, I know, sorry!

Hi folks

Haven't been on the board for some time. Now that I'm back its great to see more owners of E90s and E92s.

Count me in if there's a E90 meet. Souled Out works for me, just let me know if its supposed to be a boys night out!

I had HH with E46F today, and first thing he asked me was what mods I intend to do. Then, Eddie from Stuttgart appeared out of nowhere and well, we had beer, we talked a lot.... and he's gonna check pricing of the 335i 18" rims, M-Tech suspension and front and rear lips! The cost is gonna hurt me big time. To minimise it, I'm hoping to trade-in my stock equipment. I need someone to confirm if the 17" stock rims on the 323i Coupe would fit E90s cos that should make it quite sellable. My coupe comes in Star Spoke 185. Anyone interested?

You're thinking of getting the 18" 189s staggered? Why not the 19" 230s? Or even the Sports' 18" 193Ms

Yes the 17" 185s should fit on the E90s.

I have E92 spec 18" staggered 197s on my E90 (nice BBS made wheels btw)

The rears might be a little tucked in (E92 offsets are a little different then E90), but a pair of spacers should fill out the rear fenders nicely. I'm really talking barely noticeable differences.

Why don't you start a feeler thread to gauge interest. I am sure some of the E90 320i owners might want to upgrade from OEM 16s to OEM 17s.

Honestly, I wouldn't expect that much, maybe 2-3k for a fresh set?

I love this especially with a little image of d red calipers..but when d car is too low, it doesnt really look nice...should be a bit higher.

That car is riding on H&R Race springs, very aggressive. Those are powdercoated BBS CH, they're actually for sale, I think the owner wants $2k with tires, the wheels are M3 fitment at the back.
