It's time to take a dive for the 325i SP then cos 28 bhp and 20 Nm of torque is quite noticeable!

At this late stage, the AB SA doesn't know the plan himself or is not supposed to tell. He did say that he doesn't think the 325i can sell at 288k if the 325i Sports is at 306k, and he doesn't think there'll be a down-pricing (there never is) So he doubts the 325i will be continued and said "maybe a 323i...?"

He's either guessing or hinting...who knows? ;)

Ah, you know CAs are usually the last to know about things. I'd wager we know way more than he does about the cars :p

Its time to cross over to the dark side.... :p

Couple of things to look for in your test drive, coming out of an E46

1) The E90 is decidedly more refined in its tactility which can be a good or bad thing. The steering and low-speed response, though very good, is a touch more isolated than the E46.

2) The low-speed ride can be jarring especially with sport suspension and big RFTs. BUT, that doesn't mean the ride is always going to be harsh. The car soaks up medium to high-speed bumps very well, maintaining its stability/composure at all times.

3) The E90 truly shines in medium to high speed sweeping corners. Once you've dedicated a line, play around with the step to keep you in ideal rev range and just follow through. No white knuckles here.

4) The E46 will feel more cozy and intimate (some say, feels sportier)

5) You might find the E46's cockpit layout more traditional and appealing.

6) Interior material grade may appear better in the E46. But build quality is there, mind you.

7) If you hit the upper RPM's the N52 comes alive. Depending on how green the engine is or how adapted the step is, low-speed acceleration may appear dull, but this engine loosens up well over time. My engine feels much better at 10k miles than it was new.

8) You'd love the Sport seats and steering wheel!

9) I-drive has a learning curve so don't be discouraged at first. It will remain slow though.

10) The E90's side view mirror is too small, I'd make ample adjustments to avoid blind spots.

Great stuff again, KL2DC! Thanks!!

Thats helpful. When are you going, JPB? I might want to tag along. :)

I heard the 325i sports is with limited unit only.
So if any of you guys wanna it... quick quick lorrrrrr....

There is another Ad in the star today of the 325i Sports, this time a shot taken from the rear. Looks pretty darn good.

JPB is going during the FT day later this week as we are off and Glenmarie is open. I'm tagging along to sibuk.

Any idea how many units of 325 sports version will AB have? Have to save the $$$ for it and will take some time....

Yeah, 3er! Do join us on FT day. The more the merrier. I'll call them to see if can test drive or not. You got P.M.

The unit at Sapura Auto was off limit (locked) and unavailable for test drive!

no need to test drive, just buy! take out ur cheque book and pay the damn deposit bro! you wont regret!

Sorry guys! The units at AB Glen and Sapura are not demo units, so can look but cannot touch :) The demo units are not ready yet and it's still not known when they will be. Certainly not over FT Day and coming weekend. Looks like BMWM haven't sorted the production logistics yet. :(

Also, it's looking more likely that the 325i Sports will replace the 325i just like the 525i Sports replaced the 525i a couple of years back. Doesn't look like it's going to be a limited edition but a permanent part of the line-up. Similarly a 190bhp 323i is looking more and more likely.

It was off limits because someone bought it earlier in the morning!! :)

Yeah...orders are being taken at AB too. Waiting list already building up! As Spaceman says. just take out your cheque book la! ;)

But me, I will test-drive it first and ensure the firmer suspension is okay for me. :p
