Thanks Terry. Where u changed it. What model is your car? Mine is E60 M54engine so there is no switch.

Mine is e46. I am using a new mechanic now in kuchai Lana recommended by a guru here. They are very good. Maybe u can call them to check price but they only use new part. If new part above budget, maybe u buy part yourself from the chop chop shop list in the e46 forum and ask them to install. Ask him if he is ok with that. If u want contact pls pm me

The price you paid for valve cover gasket and rubber seals seem high. FYI, my valve cover is leaking as well and I just bought them both for RM115 from Bavarian Auto. Thinking to diy the gasket and also the vanos seals which I bought from group buy a while back.

My took less than 2 hours as the compressor no need to removed to change the control value. It should takes longer time if compressor need to be remove.

Advise to go early as this place quite busy especially on Sat.

Went to this shop early yesterday morning. Very professional service that Mr. Chew guy. Change the control valve, vacuum, refill gas, labor. All in RM650. Work done in abt 2 1/2 hours.

Other shops I asked, even autobahn sunway, all wanna straight away change compressor and wanna charge me kaw2.

I would recommend any E60 owners whose experiencing the same A/C problem to go to his shop. His number is 0192402151 - Mr. Chew. And thanks for the tip bro CG
