Are you sure the BMW dealer tuned/remap your engine?

Bro,
I had the same problem before. Send to recommended workshop (BMW specialist) and was told that need to replace certain parts that will cost few thousands.

Then I decided to send to BMW dealer and they solved it by tuning/remap the engine. It cost me less than RM300.

The problem is, you have to leave your car for them to properly diagnose.

I believe so as no part was changed or charged to me.

It appears that it was common issue and they know what need to be done after I described the symptoms. But they still take their sweet time to diagnose my car to "Confirm" the issue. Maybe that will create perception that they put a lot of effort to diagnose the car to justify their charges.
