bro,just throwing out some options:
1, starter solenoid can be reworked,serviced and repaired.most likely dirty contacts
2. whats wrong wit your pcv valve and hoses?brittle and breaking up?
3. i just replaced my wiper refills for rm 30 - silicone bought from giant.just transfer the rubber piece.

but to do the above and save money,you gotta DIY..... :67:

starter i bawa balik untuk repair itu solenoid Maybe nanti i cek kat kedai elektrik yg u mention at pekan salak ... if can.... boleh buat spare

pcv valve.. bila buka manifold untuk tukar starter... dan buka pcv valve set tu... nampak dah nak tersumbat ...ada macam sludge sekeliling tube .... termasuk ada habuk2 halus warna hitam...

the starter solenoid kaput.. so the stater gear cannot engage to the fly Wheel to crank the engine... thats the reason i cant hear any engine crank sound when the problem happened

why there is a charge for towing? i thought towing is FOC by the insurance company? i tow my car for 3 times all was borne by my insurance. which is the Pacific.
i only pay RM50 extra due to exceed their limit from Genting back to Klang Valley.

im not using insurance.... just by 3rd party Towing company... and my distance quite far from my house (klia) to Bomin jln ipoh kl

Ive read your thread from A-Z, i must salute you for your persistency with your UDM, from the day you search and bought to the numerous times sending them for repair and services. Though my F10 is still new but one day it will be in need of costly repair which i do hope not to see much of it but anyway have to face with one of these days. Thanks for sharing your BMW stories, its indeed a lot of good learning for all beemers, we will love our machines and never give up on it. Keep maintaining and groom it and it will never let us down and instead do us proud owners. Cheers!!

ATF service. mileage interval from last service is 40k km. done it at Bomin...

1. 7l of zf6 gb oil

Better to just stick to the ZF ATF bro. Since it is specially formulated by ZF for ZF gearboxes. Bavarian Auto did recommend another brand of ATF too and they claimed it is 100% compatible but no point risking it for that extra RM10 per bottle.

ravenol 1L bottle qty 3 = 3 litres
ravenol 5L bottle qty 1 = 5 litres
totalling to 8 litres of engine oil?does the N52/54 use so much oil?The M54 uses only 6.5 litres....

And rm75 for oil filter?mine only rm18.....BOSCH

bro... use only 7l. ... 1l spare. .. I keep in my car boot.


normally they sell ori bmw oil filter for rm85 per pc.. info from forum... Bavarian Auto sell for much cheaper price...
