Hi NKTOB, just wondering, how'd you manage to get the original gearknob off?

I bought the same ZHP replacement knob from amazon US but I'm struggling to get the original one off (after opening the leather boot and also disconnecting the wire of course )

Hi,

I just took the whole gear gaitor out which was originally stitched to the gearknob.

This new F10M5 gearknob also comes with the gear gaitor, I just replaced them oem like

nice new colour bro! is that frozen/matte gunmetal grey? anything similar have always been my favourite colour on an e46 m3. btw I'm counting the days u will be putting in the ESS VT2-550 Supercharger Kit as the ultimate mod...hehe gets you 550bhp/475Nm yummy plus your stick shift can handle the extra power/torque easily...FI is the way to gooo racuuuunzzz :vroam:

Yes, if the tone is much lighter and the black matte theme will suit just fine. They will include the side grills & rims to be matte as well.

But I choose to maintain a similar factory look & feel (E92M3 Frozen Grey) where the chromes are maintain for classiness.

With the new kidney chrome grilles which was just 'striped', I retained the hyper silver finished of the BBS CHs with the red/gold caps & the matching red BBKs to complete the entire theme.
