Today I also change aircond compressor control valve at SSG car workshop in taman salak selatan.

Same symtom as previously 2 3 years back. Aircond tak sejuk while car not moving. Also aircond lambat sejuk

Workmanship for servicing + compressor control valve + gase + compressor oil = RM688

Now ready for balik kampung drive

Bro was the control valve replaced in situ or the compressor needs removal to access the valve?

Saving this for future references, it's nice to see somebody who documents work done to the car. Getting mine pretty soon (N52 525i/530i) so this should be a pretty good ballpark for all the maintenance for the car. Anyways, you seem to have a love-hate relationship with Bomin Auto. :laugh:
Have you tried other workshop? Which was/is the best for you?

Compressor needs to be removed to change the valve. Then a vacuum before refill.

I did it at Panjang Auto Salak Tinggi. They used hand held device (yellow box - and its universal for many car makes including proton car) similar to picture i post when i service my car at bomin

Big possibility the photos were linked to a 3rd party sharing site (photobucket, which used to be free). When the site is 'upgraded' (means hv to pay to use), photos goes missing too (pretty much account terminated).
