where is the best place(meaning the workshop did it so many times already n every customer is happy)need at least the contact no...

Yeah I want to know too. Hoping to transplant my lazy M40 with it. Any issue?

All PM's replied.

Better call and visit to discuss cost with him. It depends on choice of engine and work required. All I can say is that you definitely can find other workshops out there that can do it cheaper but I have seen enough jobs which have been screwed up at other places towed to his workshop for him to fix that cost is probably relative.

Engine of choice in my opinion is a 1JZ VVTI. Sure you won't regret... hehehehh...

bro seech,

can u pm me ur recommended workshop and the location pls?
does he did any conversion on 2jz also?

thnx bro

PM sent. Go check out the workshop first before deciding. He usually has one or two projects ongoing.

have few question to ask.

1. What is the different between 1jz and 2jz?
2. Does the mod will effect the long shaft?
3. Some said that their car vibrate at certain2 speed bcoz of long shaft. How to
tackle this problem?

Just want to know coz newbies here..tq

1 jz is 2.5 liter.
2jz is 3 liter.

2jz is a supra engine and has been out of production for some time. 1jz still in production. Latest 1JZ is with VVTI. Fuel efficiency much better with 1j but power of course is slightly less.

Long shaft will have to be modded to match new engine with old driveshaft. Vibration? Possible but should not be that great an issue. I understand some ppl do longshaft balancing but I haven't seen it done.

long shaft vibration is due to unbalanced or unaligned long shaft......once that is done....correctly all problems are solved

EN. shyful
