For the 205/55x15 flavour, the Bridgestone GIII is easily obtainable. What are the other varieties of tyres in this size that are available locally? This rare size means that even some tyre shops have never come across them.

Michelin MXV8

Michelin Pilot Preceda ( I & II )

Falken Azenis St115

Yokohama AVS Sport

Toyo Proxes T-1R

Stocks aren't ready available, but some of them can be found. However the can be ordered.

Kev can you share your fav tyre shops where the tyres mentioned above are available?

i think 205/55/15 is the most odd size tire available in Malaysia Market.

For michellin mxv8, yes you can get new but OLD tires, way back in 2002 or 2003.
For michellin preceda, michellin themselve no bring in to malaysia. but you can try spore.
For other brands, you just need to search high and low. But then again, it will be old stock.

The best bet is still the G3 which is just ok for your normal drive.

Sorry Alex,

Have been away. I usually go to:

MPS Auto in Sunway.

Hup Soon Sunway.
