looks nice n noisy.....which is fine if you are ready to compromise that!

350 not bad if its made in Japan. GIII was already about 300 IIRC and that is definitely Thailand made.

yes, but now i heard that Bridgestone tires are CRAP wor. They don't perform well in wet and they are prone to uneven wear and tear.

Then those F1 cars must be crap as well coz they are all running on Potenzas now. :D :D :D

mpower, don't get me wrong, f1 tires make and commercial use are different tires. :)

So, give me your input on the tire you purchase. Be frank, if it's good then it's good. If not, then do share.

Eeeerrr......F1 tyres consist of 50 different blends of rubber compound (on a single tyre!) and only work when they reach 49 Celcius. Comparing F1 tyres to consumer tyres are like apples and oranges.....not the same thing at all.

In my personal experience, Bridgestone has never made a good strret tyre. Don't bombard me, just my own experience. The only good tyres frm Bridgestone are frm the SO-* range........and we all know what these cost!

let's give RE001 a try. MPower and Tombstone, appreciate if you can share with us on your experience on the tires after it's being run in yeah.

FWIW I'mm running on BS GIII in 205/55 flavour. Quite happy with it, dry grip is great and not squeally. Wet grip is moot as i drive slow in the rain. :D

Im running Bridgestone Potenza GIII's 205/55 15 for a year now...no complains on the dry grip...sorry dont drive fast in the rain...not noisy after a yr as well and lots of thread left...works for me...

greets,

Sure or not........let me try can ar?.......Hehehe:D

haiyo kev u try means habis la.... these tyres normal and sports driving can la but u need full slicks to keep u on the road...

well, i m still thinking about the RE001. My Michellin's are wearing off. But it still grips. But not much confidence based on the tire condition. Showing some hairline cracks.

Why michellin don't want to bring in PP2 for 205/55/15. :(

ok i can share on my part,

i just came back from thailand. i did a drive from kl right up to alor setar. when i started my journey was around 2 am.

at this wee hours in the morning, the weather is basically unpredictable. throughout the journey i experienced everything a person could get from the malaysian weather.

and i must say, i was pretty impress that i could do 130km/h with the re001 in the wet without any fears. when the gates of heaven finally open to the max, i could still do 100km/h without the car twitching.

previously i could only do that with my toyo for long stretches.

everyone knows that this tyre is good in the dry but this is my experience in the wet.

by the way, i took my e30:eek: .

thats all.

tombstone,

that was a good review. Glad that it works fine for you.

Mpower, any review so far?
