I just received a mail from Traffic Police informing me that I have outstanding summonses to be settled and that they have a 50% discount campaign going on now. Question is, how come, only now they inform me of my outstanding summonses when some are dated back to 2006?

big bro, I suggest you walk in to the traffic HQ with a lawyer asking them for the relevant information / details of the summons. They'd rather give you a further discount than spend time going thru the hassle of providing you with the requested information. My brother had 9 summons settled for a lump sum of RM300 after lauching this kind of an inquiry couple of years back, had leftover money to buy that bhaiyee lawyer some dry gin:wink:

most of them way back to 2003 onwards where speeding they charge RM70-110 only hehehehe
