My car is 1996 528, where do I locate the connector?

Inside the engine compartment....you will see a 20 pin round connector.

jumpman, It works well on Win XP. Have not test it on newer window. If it dont work on WIn 7, maybe it would be
better to upgrade to Win Xp. LOL.

No problem sofar with basic diagnostic function. I know there are many other features but I am not adventurous enough to try it out.

I think the tax cannot be avoid if the item are greater than 1 item. When I got mine, there was no tax as 1 item is
considered for personal use.

BTW, your E39 do NOT required any adapter. they are plug in directly to the diagnostic port which
is located in your car. it located just under the dashboard on the right hand side (just under the small
compartment). Just pull down the flap and you be able to the d-shape plug.

To get package through with no hassle get them to fill up and paste CN22 custom declaration. This would make the package "dilepaskan" easier. Based on my experience getting parts. And ask them not to put description hinting for vehicle use.
