they deserve all the credit for their work rate..:top:

bro nazrie,
thx for the sharing...

First time sent my car for a car wash, and boy, was it a really good one. Went to 1UP, and lo and behold, I bumped into Nazrie bro there. Saw his immaculate shiny looking E46 cabrio, and it was frigging shiny! :top:

Like Nazrie said, the guys there are very friendly and very meticulous with their work. Very good!

PS: B33MER bro, next time can try sending your car for wash and waxing here too. :D

Yesterday I had no choice but to bring the car to a nearby car wash in Oug. The area between Bukit Indah and Pearl Point Oug.

This morning I found a few white scratches near to the BMW emblem on the front bonnet. I was like *!@$*. I swear to God I will never go to dodgy ass places to wash the car anymore.

i storngly encourage you bimmer to care for your own ride by
a simple regiments - wash weekly (try ONR no rinse wash)
wax once every 2 months

rest sit back to enjoy water beading & a glossy ride for years to come

What does ONR stand for?

Update:
Today I went to 1AutoSpa, as usual I was happy with the service. This time I asked if they could remove the scratches made from the other car wash place. So the person started to polish it, and by the time I realise it, he was wet sanding that spot. Anyway I thought everything would be fine la, like no after effects. And when I arrived my workplace then I started seeing one patch of sanded effect.

Guys, how do I fix this? Is this still fixable. Feck, one after another.

ONR stands for Optimum No Rinse. Its the latest method to wash cars in the US. No need to rinse after washing. Hence the name no rinse.

Do you have any pictures of the area that was wet sanded? Wet sanding can cause some serious damage to the paint if its not done properly. The person doing it should know what they are doing and be able to remove the wet sanding marks. Need to take a look at it first to see if its recoverable.

After the wet sanding, the worker did not see the other wet sanded patch therefore he did not apply the polish over it.

I went back after work. They were happy to fix it for me. Best part of it all, they did not charge me for getting rid of the scratches.

I'm a happy customer. Looks like I'm gona signing up to be a member.

Oh btw, I read somewhere that wet sanding is really bad for the paint. The next time if I get more scratches, what should I do?

The theory behind wetsanding to remove scratches is that you are removing the clearcoat around the scratch down to the same level of the scratch so that the scratch is 'removed'. Its actually the clearcoat around the scratch that is being 'removed'. Care should be taken to ensure that the minimum amount of clearcoat is removed during this process. If its done properly then it should not be an issue as the amount of clearcoat removed is minimal.

However, if the scratch is deep then it would be best to just leave it as removing too much clearcoat is detrimental to the paint and could lead to premature clearcoat failure. Something to be aware of when deciding on scratch removal.

When I talked to the supervisor, he mentioned members get further discount.

just tried the car wash there today , sign up for package which include unlimited car wash per month and special windscreen rain treatment ( suppose to last 1 year - similar to rain x but last longer ), thought I give it a try before jumping in for full package . Overall service good

Guys, you should give Extreme Auto Detailing at Glenmarie a try. They do a very decent wash, using DG shampoo, two buckets with grit guard and sometimes the foam gun if required, the schmitt as wash mitt and dry with a proper waffle weave drying towel.
