Brand New 2005 VW Polo 1.4A?

Guys, I was referring to an advertisement on star classified yesterday, Written cleary RM65K for a pre-reg VW 1.4 Polo. Went to have a look today as purely got attracted by the pricing,The sales agent said these cars are brand new and was manufactured and imported in 2005. However, there were some problems to the AP and the company could not tax them and have them stored in KL for more than 4 years. Now the problem resolved and they are selling to clear the stock. Car is pretty decent with 3 optional colour. Silver/ Black/ Dark Blue. and for brand new, is going for RM70K.Took one out for a test drive and the car drives beautifully, is not great power but is certainly a smooth ride. Build quality is very good and all functions seems to be well like a new car. My sister likes the Honda City and I personally think is pricey, 90k for 1.5 Thai made shouldnt be of any match to a German super mini. And this car comes with 16 inch alloys and Electric sunroof. I am very tempted as the family waja is getting old. With no ABS and Airbags, i think is a good time to change. What do you guys have to say about this little German supermini. Oh.. the dealers also got some old stock VW 1.6FSI which I would definitely pick if it wasnt for my mom, she likes cute small cars

Dont think warranty is given. Will be going back to the dealer again tomorrow, will bring mom around, if she likes it, will be halfway down the road of closing the deal

My knowledge is also limited but what I know is, at least have them to show you the AP copy, and it has to be local AP. If AP from Sabah/Sarawak, you will have hard time when come to selling it. JPJ will not recognise it.

I heard about that oso regarding AP from Sabah/Sarawak...you can check with JPJ...nowdays, even 'total lost' car could be back on the road....

Bro no warranty is not acceptable.
Hyundai Sime-Darby cleared their old stock during year 2006/2007 at cost price and they gave the same 3 years warranty. Mitsubishi too, cleared their Colt @ cost price with 3 years warranty.

I have one polo 8 months old for sale. Accident free and mileage only 12k. Blue colour and come with full tinting (worth 1.2k) and k&N replacement filter. View to believe. Selling for 68k.
