Interesting! So it looks like the new steering has a slightly different display (LED colours, main display colour is now white instead of reddish/orange).

Sorry, but I don't. I think it's copying the VW group (VW, Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini, Bugatti) BMW should never copy anyone IMHO.

Copying is good if it's for improvement I think. If I'm not wrong "MOMO" steering is the first who do the steering like that many-many years back !

sunny, the other pics are really nothing though, one front thin lip for the E92/3 m sport bumper and the rear performance diffuser only

hmm... now only i notice its flat... dun really like bottom flat steering though

Copying is good if it's for improvement I think. If I'm not wrong "MOMO" steering is the first who do the steering like that many-many years back !

For sure flat bottom steering was done ages ago. How is it an improvement anyway? It's only a styling thing, like humps for the instrument cluster and iDrive, kidney grills and corona lights. Flat bottom steering seems to be the signature style of all the VW premium and supercars now, so BMW would only be copying their signature style, and that's what I don't like about it.

Got the Performance Steering!!

All It took was a glance at the real thing and watching you tube............paid my deposit today to Adrian and getting it installed this Friday.......here goes 7k worth of steering..........
