You may want to wait until after CNY. Then you'll get a 2011 manufactured car and 2011 nav map (usually out sometime in Feb)

Getting a 320d yourself too Schwepps? Now that it is fitted with the iDrive and power and torque upped to 184hp and 380nm torque...

May look at diesel in the F30, but only if a 6-pot is available by the 2nd/3rd production year.

I don't think changing to 19" wheels voids the warranty.

As far as I know docraboy the price remains at 260. I need to double check abt the 19" rims though. Planning to get the Miro 111 in hyper-grey. I personally think white looks good on the 320d m-sport lci with saddle brown interior . What colour are you guys planning to go for? Pics would be useful. My biggest worry is getting a colour and it doesn't turn out well.

Another friend says we got to chip in another 7k for the idrive. so probably looking at 267K. But everybody doesn't know for sure...the sales guys all give conflicting accounts. Poor them, being kept in the dark by HQ.

Can someone, anyone from BMW/AB/Ingress/Quill tell us how much the new 320d with iDrive-fitted costs? Please...we are begging. Somebody must know. Come on, this is a chance for you to make a mark above all the other sales advisors who don't know....Can the real slim shady please stand up?

Just got news from somebody from inside BMW confirming that the new 320d does NOT come with iDrive. Apparently it was some miscommunication between BMW Malaysia and all of its dealers. To add to the confusion, the S.A.s from Ingress are still saying till today that the new 320d with iDrive retails at 263K.

Most of us thought it was too good to be true anyway. Throw in a Garmin GPS and not the free tint for CNY? Maybe...throw in an iDrive? That's just mad BMW Malaysia will say. Dream on! ha ha!!

Oh oh.......I think the iDrive story IS TRUE!!!!!...New 320d lucky buggers ARE getting the iDrive and uptuned 320d with 184hp, 380 torque for just 5 thousand ringgit more than we what paid for no iDrive and less hp, less torque! Cry, cry, cry!!! Life's soooo unfair!!! Car will be delivered in 2 weeks time if put in order today.

Yeah I spoke to BMW in sungai besi and they confirmed the nav + idrive. However they said it's limited period offer, not sure how true that is. The car is being launched this wknd but I didn't know they were accepting bookings!

I talk to one of the SA from AB, it seems the new 320d M-Sports is equipped with iDrive and with a tag of RM260,800.00.

Just download the brochure of 320d, the retail price of new 320d M-Sports, equipped with iDrive, is RM260,800.00.

What's the link, Sean? Thanks.

Ya, I too just downloaded it, my findings as follows:

A)320d Performance Edition RM261,800
Come with:
BMW Performance Aero Dynamic Kit
BMW Performance Front Grille in black
BMW PErformance Accent Strips
BMW Perfromance Gear Selector Lever Grip
BMW PErformance Handbrake Grip

B)320d M Sport Edition RM260,800
None of the BMW PErformance goodies but comes with
M Sport Aero Dynamic Kit and all the M Sport related goodies
Brake Energy Regeneration
Navigation with iDrive

I realised both does not come with confort access feature and the brake energy regeneration only appears on January 2011 brochures for the 320d, 323i and 325i....all brochures prior to this date does not come with this statement in the brochure. As far as I know, the energy produced when we drive is being rechannelled to the car battery when the accelerator is lifted off but not sure if this is the case here. With the F10, you can see the brake energy regeneration charge light on the odometer lights up when this feature kicks in, so maybe the latest batches of E90 comes with it? Anyone has verified this?

So back to the 320d Performance Edition and 320d M Sprt Edition, if you can live without the BMW Performance aesthetics, then the M Sport Edition seems to be a good deal as the Navigation and I drive alone is a real plus plus point :)

Those are pretty good specs! Looks like this year will be a good year to buy any E90 model, as a lot of goodies will be included for the same base price. :top: Indicative that a model change is approaching though.

The updated 320d is such a no-brainer purchase, only if I hadn't bought my 325i last April ....

Don't worry about not having Comfort Access, mine sucks due to the poor range.

Look on the bright side...still you do get the 6-potter growl, bro!
On my bright side, if I added traded in my existing 320d and topped up with another 100k, I could get a brand-new 320d with iDrive!
Everybody must look at their bright side, otherwise..its suicide-jump off the nearest bridge..too much heartache in this world..ha ha ha!

To be honest I don't really enjoy my car so much. Maybe it's the driving condition on the roads I usually take. But I just loved the 320d courtesy car ..

Why did BMW Malaysia decide to include iDrive in 320d?

To capture more money from 320i buyers? Because 325i not doing too well now?

Might go to a showroom to check it out later this week. Not gonna switch, just kay poh chi ..
