Blue smoke coming out of Diesel X5

I have a very rare occasions of blue smoke which comes out from my exhaust while i am stationary (waiting at traffic lights).Once I hit the throttle, the blue smoke disappear immediately. The smoke appears every 3-4 days and for a few seconds only and only while stationary (not after starting the engine). Mine is 3.0 Diesel Twin Turbo which still has the DPF attached. Any clues to what is happening ? Any X6 35D or 30D folks who has seen this problem and what did you do to resolve this ?

From what i understand for diesel engines, its usually either the breather valve or the breather hose that's clogged.
