Hi All,I wondor whether can we use the Angel Eye only as the Daytime Running Light rather than the whole headlights turn on?

which isn't exactly like DRLs because the rear and interior lights will all be on as well.. haha

my 2006 E60 come with DRL function but the whole headlamp is on, so i wonder can we set it to only Angel Eye thru coding or other methods :)

Great question EdwardN, was wondering this myself.
There is a selection for DRL, but it switches on the headlights.
Would much prefer that it switches on the Angel Eyes.
Has anyone managed to swap the two?

Ya..... when DRL function on the whole headlights under Automatic Lighting Control mode, it is exactly the same with Low Beam lights on, think BMW won't and design and invest something thats duplicated. Any Sifu and Taiko can advise? very much appreciated.

but to do this you'll first have to change the AE bulb to a brighter one to get the DRL effect. the stock brightness is not visible under the bright sunlight IMHO.
