Are you getting navigation professional or the smaller screen size unit? I think for navigation professional, you will only have one USB which is in your armrest.

I have no idea mine is professional OR whatever you called it. I just take whatever the BMW Dealer offer me. Its a brand new car and the navigation system SUCK. Cant even enter my condo name. All it ask after the street and postcode is the house unit AND it only allows 2 digit. Apa lar.

Would say yours is the Nav Pro unit as the screen size is 10.25". Smaller screen (Nav Business) is not available on CKD F10's.

Should be Nav Pro with 40Gb HDD built in. BMW Malaysia upgraded the iDrive early this year thus the increase of price from RM 408k to RM 415k.

IMHO, it's gonna take sometime (i.e. weeks) to get used to BMW Nav system, I guess. At first, I thought my SatNav was outdated (since I bought 2009 E60 only) but after having it updated, I still find it a bit confusing, not user friendly as google map or waze. The confusing part is choosing city name and street name. Usually, I will stop the car, find it on google map, memorise the route inside my head, turn on radio volume and drive again. But nevermind lah as long as I am driving UDM. The driving experience itself make me forget about those gadget things...

The drive itself is really fantastic. Handling superb and experience unforgetable. Navigation is the only issues here. Guess I will have to live with it.

Try to use BMW online -> online search to search for road/building name for navigation... I think this is easier.

Don't worry. Even housing area the same. Ended up in RMAF base at night instead of Shah Alam. Yea.

I'd say I still trust my Garmin. And it seems many Euro models are using the same maps system, Japanese like Honda and Toyota use Garmin, and Mazda is with TomTom. But when the nav works, it works well.

You just need to get used to iDrive. Just play around and you'll be fine.

The map sometimes insist on using the wrong city. Was searching for a place in shah alam but gps cannot find. Then I realized that the place I was looking for was near my friends place, whose position I've saved into the car's hard drive. I then chose my friend's place with the thought that at least the gps can get me close. Then I realise that the gps list my friend's place in shah alam as klang. I'm sure you know where I'm going with this: I tried looking for the shah alam street but intentionally put city as klang and voila, can find already. Stupid bmw gps.

Not yet.... If you switch on music OR radio, you wont hear it. Ha ha ha ha. I will try to get it fixed during my first service at 10,000km.

Got the 528i for few days and so far no issue. Pretty good drive and engine is more powerful compare to 325 E90 except numb feel steering. Going to do some coding to add-on movie playback from USB, DVD in Motion and also show phone info and media info in the HUD.

Did you enable the code for BMW Live? If yes I think you should see the menu item. I am able to enable my NBT with BMW Live and internet. Most of the things working but internet refuse to work.
