Brader jerman u forgot u also got to join the SSClub hehe

Would have been easier if the club was around first before the forum... Most online seem to think it is just a forum not a club so they don't see the need to join membership. Well that's what i thought before when the club was finally registered then. Used to argue with the same exact points as some has stated here and the other thread.

What changed my mind was i realized that this is BMW club Malaysia and i felt the need to be associated with the brand so i joined. Guess each person will realize the distinct difference from forum and club and will join and some will not, it's those in between that OM's and OM's have to push for not the ones who type the most words or have a high post count as it is known what their initial intentions are which is forummer only. I am proof a forummer will become a member so i guess, CM's and OM's have to be patient as it is very well known that any online/forum argument there will always be no winners just a bunch of people who just argue for the sake of it with no end solution.

I blame it on those high member car forums which seems to some here have assumed like me is free for all and there should be no need for fees. We are different than e46fanatics, bimmerforums, e90post, m3post, zerotohundred, lowyat etc we are BMW club Malaysia an official entity registered with ROS and recognized by BMW.

..driving BMW and problem is 150RM/year what is 12.5RM/month, what is 0.41RM/day..coffe after lunch cost more...I just dont get it..

Well ... Malaysians are stingy and selfish. Period. But let's be fair, to each their own. Some may feel family is more important. Some may want to enjoy the freebies. Some like the TT sessions. Like for me, its about activities and I do not expect it for free. We have to pay ... but at least for me, I can say. Yeah ... join the club then got things to do with people who have the same interest. Socialise la ...

You say be fair to each their own yet you say Malaysians are stingy and selfish.Period? Sorry i don't understand... seems like a contradicting presumption. Don't defend yourself by associating all Malaysians are stingy and selfish yet have a disclaimer be fair, to each their own? You seem like a nice guy but don't you get that the committee and members here are trying to get more members? Sorry if it seems i am singling you out by quoting but you are the prime example of a forummer like i was, first year jumped to hundreds of posts. Arguing cause i like drama, like to right people cause i feel it needed to be done... a rebel in a controlling order, a keyboard warrior, causing divide in a group when the group should work together. I liked it, it was fun but when you are ready join officially.. this club needs more members like you, very active online and willing to put the extra effort like for example you organizing track day. I appreciate your posts and efforts for this club and wish it has more official members like you to make it better.

Nothing is free in life what and i pay for the blue nick.

Peace

lol...so the point of this thread is what again? those who want to pay the rm300 would do so even if they had to shave all their bulu and wear a g-string in high heels. then those who dont pay, wont pay unless something radical happens, like nice young girls to sit on our laps during TT :D

so, unless radical changes is going to happen from this thread, which i doubt, why start the whole pay-dont pay story. if the club kaputs, then bmwclubmalaysia would become bimmerclubmalaysia. most if not all the members would be the same, you will still have drives. TT pun ada. the passion of the roundel is still there, so what's the diff? no official recognition from bmw? sucks a little, but like i said earlier, does it change anythign? :)

xxx....so u better go find some young nice ones la....start the initiaitve. i will cum support you..... :D

Que sera sera. I support BMWCM and the need to unleash the blue in me. So I pay lor..

yes, very well said sir.

just for old remembrance sake...

The story is a group of young bmw owners one day decided to form a Club, which at that moment mooted the idea of also having a 'platform' to gather and involve all in a cyberspace world called 'www.bmwclub.com.my' . Also, to affiliate the 'club' to be with the International BMW Club Council in Germany. One of the criteria was to get the 'Club' registered with ROS and the Council approving our affiliation. Then the forum was changed to 'BMW Club Malaysia' and here we are now.

The Club is the Club registered with ROS now and the forum is the forum in cyberspace. Currently both separate now.

Ask the current committee member, Affan, he was there from the start.

People will join if they feel they belong here, similarly for those that chose not to renew.

I know many of you are passionate for the club and trying to recruit as many members as possible (tabik!) but if one still chooses to remain as a Club Guest for their own personal reasons, they do not deserved to be ridiculed.

WE can't force everyone to join the club and have a "If you are not with us, then you are against us" type of mentality. Participating and using the forum doesn't qualify one to be a free loader, in my opinion.

It is those that join drives, official events and etc, but yet still refused to join. Now, those are your free loaders and I won't feel sorry if everyone of you aim your AK-47 at them:bandit::bandit:

Pussy, seriously are u sure ur a member of this club?...here I am trying to rationalize on why join the club but it seems like ur against it...whts the point of bringing this old story up and the need to emphasize that the club is the club and the forum is the forum to contradict me...this is really the saddest moment for me...to be screwed by ur own kind. Sometimes I wonder if all this is really worth it.

XXX, please screw pussy!!
Bro, I commend your efforts for this thread and trying to recruit more members!:congrats:

Cheers

Bro participating and using a forum of course doesn't qualify one to be a free loader...u have to see the context of when this was said..it was more to those who already have thousands of post and have been here for years , make a lot noise abt why this and that not done...not at everybody....well to me this people are just the same as those you said that need to be shot at with an AK-47...so thats why i came out with the idea of the need to register again after x amount of post if still have not signed up, as some sort of mechanism needs to be implemented to encourage membership which to me is a better option to closing forum access,

Good morning everyone,

CM wishes to advise everyone to stick to the topic of this thread i.e. What would it take for you to be a member of this club?. Irrelevant post will be edited and/or moderated without prior notice.

Please also take note of Main Forum Rules: No flaming or aggressive behavior towards another member or incite or perpetuate a conflict or argument. Any personal attacks or name-calling will get you on probation, if not banned.

Thank you

..so, from what i can see, it seems that major reason for remaining as CG is that, pay or not..no difference(worth attention), so people choose for non payment option..if thats the case, then problem is not in OM's or CG's but club management..

lol....were u moderated by the forum police? hahaha...i remember reading ur reply to Bundy....but its missing now. and no edit mark from you. hopefully your panties wasn't pulled down against your will. i got ghee if u need :p

but chill la....i like the fire in your belly. but it doesn't seem many share the enthusiam or sentiments. but dont throw the towel in because of that. after all, the TT and drives and gatherings is where the real fun is. and your presense there increases the sexperience for all of us......:D

Maintaining a website, a forum and paying for hosting ain't that expensive. Come on.. if that's an issue, i can give you all for free. It's about paying to be part of a BMW community that is for the marques that we appreciate and love. I know some are so passionate that they dont mind paying the 300 bucks while some, well, eventhough they drive a BMW, they struggle financially. However, there are majority of which do not think it's worth paying.

P.S. When the time comes for me to pay my dues to join the club - If I am asked for a copy of my BMWs registration cards... well.. what can I say? If you don't know me by now.. and my significance has to be shown via a photostated document, u ain't worth my time... u have yr rules.. i have my own principles...

haiyooo....one of your tayar price = 10 years of club membership la. dont be so kamsiap la...faster become a blue film actor liek the rest of us. you dont get much in return now, but you get a bmw club membership card which you can put in the fish tank for decoration. hehehe.

haiyaa....dont be scared. they always ask u for grant la..it's a standard question when they have nothign else to ask. although you drive two bmw's, but maybe its actually a mercedes in disguise. u cannot be too careful nowdays, lot of conman running around saying their mercedes and volvo is actually a bmw. :p

it would be nice if there's a stand at all BMW showrooms where visitors can just pick up our application form. even more fantastic if sales personnel could hand new BMW owners our form when taking delivery of their new cars. instead, my sales rep said, "haiya.. the forum ah?? they dunno what they saying lah! every little bit oso wan to complain!"
