What you have just wrote is as good as defamation..you are accusing the club of cheating the public..but just lucky for you that you are a bloody coward hiding behind a screen that we are unable to do anything to you.

Let me ask you this, people join Lake Club, Sunway Club, Tropicana Club for what...Golf no need member also can play , Public Swimming pool also available, , public tennis court also available, public badminton court also available...pay RMXXXXX for what...why dont you write to HOTLINE and say all this club cheating people money...just say so that you are a bloody cheapskate who cant afford RM300 to join the club....just go drive your BMW thats if you actually even own one, join AAM ...and enjoy your life how you see fit. ...and let other people enjoy theirs...and to you and anxious ...HAVE A LIFE.

what benefits? can play badminton, can go swimming , can play golf...also have to make reservation unless you are a VVVIP...I also can do all this what no need to join member also....some more have to pay tenths of thousands plus monthly subscription...BMW Club only RM150 1 year you also cannot afford..

...and furthermore I need to answer stupid question posted by stupid people.

I just sign up to be an official member. No offense, but i dont understand y is the hassle about the membership renewal? Nobody force me to sign up to be a member, its up to u if u want to be a member and if u dont its ur own choice. Whether its worth the money or not it's very subjective as each one of us have different expectations.. This is the only official BMW club around, if u feel like joining by all means pls do so... But if u dont, becoz u feel its not worth then its ur right to do so. For me I dont care if AAM is much cheaper or likewise coz I can be driving a Myvi to join AAM, Im sure if im driving a Myvi, I can only join Myviclub rite? not BMWCM rite? Just my 2 cents....

2. can you also list what are the benefits that you are looking for from BMW Club Malaysia?

For the record I do not agree with Frankie's assertions. Sorry mate, I dont think the committe intends to fleece its members.

I am just trying to promote more openess ( sometning we Malaysians arent reallly used too).

Anyway, its obvious that I am just banging my head against the wall trying, so guys have it your way.

I'll have to learn to just sit back and enjoy the forum. The next time I have to urge to raise something like this again( which in my mind is a perfectly legit Q), I'll just bite my "fingers" and refrain.

AAM got lotsa benefit meh? I personally don't think its worth it. If its tow truck service that you wanted, nowadays all insurance company also got provide Auto-assist toll free number which cover 1st 100km of towing free, quite similar to AAM. And yes, some may not cover all places BUT! they reimburse your towing fee for places out of reach by their panel.. good enough for me. You sent them the receipt, they send u a cheque within a week.

AAM sell battery.. well, not cheap and all I wanted is just a jump start which can be done FOC by all insurance panel of auto assist team. Once car started, I can drive off and buy the battery from else where which is a lot cheaper.

AAM magazine? Boring magazine.. I have more fun reading this forum.

The only service that I must get from AAM is to issue my competition license.. and for that, you don't have to join AAM..

Now u all see the word "worth" is truly depending on who you r talking to..

Buy BMW "worth" meh? I guess we all know the answer but many would not agree with us..

Maybe they are up for re-election, seem to have the same consistent noise and bleak outlooks as I have seen recently in the election campaigns.

The joining of a club gains you much more then just material objects of which you don't seem to grasp, the joining of a club is to bring together people of like minds, it can gain benifits in.
1.) The meeting of new people and increasing your social awareness
2.) The gaining of Professional contacts for business support.
3.) The gaining of Local area knowledge for vehicle support and modification.
4.) The gain of mebership related discounts at a wide variety of business'

The 4 items above are just an example of Membership gains that (judging by argumentative personalities) would not normally be gained, the purpose of finacially supporting a club is simple enough for even children to understand "Nothing in life is Free" it costs to run any organisation.. you think 100% of the money going to save the children foundations and such actually reaches the people who need it, even in best intentions..

I think if you have issues with the payment of money to a club then you haven't got the true spirit of the club and are better off just going to the local bar and gaining the wisdom of the dutch, for only through that may you gain some insight into the personal non-materialistic gains that official members have...

i also wanna join the club, unfortunately i dont own a bimmer yet.. meanwhile i just tumpang the forum. i can see there a lot of activities going around.

if you get to use the forum for free without any payment, just shuddup and use it. stop bickering. it is definitely not smart (in other words stupid) causing so much trouble. if money is the issue just say so la... rather than making so many excuses not joining the club and discouraging others.
