VW Sharan at RM200+k could be an option. Pretty comfy and spacious (similar to the Estima if not slightly bigger) and it uses the GTI engine, which makes it relatively quick as well.
Just sold my estima a few months back, now i have odyssey absolute RB1...more powerful, economical and stable. Most importantly, it accomodates 3 adults and 4 kids well..

The 2.4L RB1 was my dream engine for my Civic FD1 conversion LOL. Sadly couldn't get a shop with expertise to do the conversion. Oopsss, off-topic hehehe.
Odyssey is a "cun" car lah brader, congratz on your new toy by the way

Ford s max at rm 190k with 240 bhp is fastest n best handling mpv, albeit a bit cramp at d 3rd row. Will b getting a sharan myself in d end, 4 its overall practicality. Mazda 8 is also an option but 3rd row again very tight. Good luck in yr search.
With that kind of budget, if buying new, the Sharan is the one to go for.
A second choice may be the S-Max, though it fits 5 adults and 2 kids more than 7 adults comfortably.
Recently purchased the S-Max, it's fun to drive as well.
A third choice would be the Maxda 8, it has the most comfortable seats in the second row,
though performance and handling are anaemic. It is an MPV after all.
There are a number of SUV's with 7 seats as well, you may want to check them out.
I do currently own an Estima ACR50 2.4 7 seater. For me, it is a very good family car, design wise, not so bulky as vellfire. It can run to 180km with full load without hesitation. But driving it feels like you're in a boat, quite soft springs for max comfort. Maintenance wise, nothing major, just normal services. I love it as a family car. Will I drive it alone? No way Jose !!! I'll stick to my bimmer
the current Merc E-class can sit 7. It has folding rear seat, rear facing. Its 300k on grey import, drives well, comfortable, classy and the E250 is powerful enough, if not can go for E350 for just a little more.
Tried on starex previously. Doesn't suit for you as your budget close to 300k. Look for higher end conti brand? Or else I would choose alphard/vellfire?
