Want to buy E39, any advice?

Aiyoo....I know you did not say BMW got no intelligence. I was only asking you why BMW got no intelligence? Does our e39 got valvetronic because my mechanic never tell me anything about my e39 engine. He only repair my car and don't want to tell me anything about how engine works. Can you share some of your knowledge with me?

Somemore vvti got intelligence. Why our BMW got no intelligence? Is it because the german designers/engineers forgotten to put intelligence into our BMW? Then BMW technologies not so advance. Can you suggest how we can made/modify our BMW to be more intelligent?

This valvetronic is included in Double vanos engine, i dont know single vanos engine got this technology or not. Double vanos basically is DOHC (Double overhead camshaft).

he's doing 140 kmh la.

and btw what bro herbert is saying, 140 is the optimum/minimum speed to be cruising at, anyrhing below feels so slow. that is how i felt anyway. nothing to do with valvetronic or whatever.

I did KL-Sg Petani for half tank, 140-200kmh all the way

just get e39 with m54 engine. end up with 3 choices 2.2, 2.5, 3.0

don't worry about the price coz the car can last long n it's better than e60

forget the m52 engine.

m54 and m52 is big diff which m52 only have one vanos head.

m52tu and m54 is hard to tell from bare eye.

To enjoy your 6 potters e39, the comfort speed is bewteen 140 km to 160 km. Summons just pay lah....after all dapat 50% discount.

Exactly what happened to me ... I have a heavy left foot, it's sorta like a birth defect... Only way to get rid of it is to chop it off... Hmmm maybe getting a UDM wasn't such a good idea summons be damned !

I look here look there also don't have this valvetronic in my engine. Could it be BMW forgot to put in valvetronic system into my engine during manufacturing?

why must only open engine to see got valvetronic or not, cannot see from outside meh? is there anyway without open engine can know whether my m54 got valvetronic or not?

I think typo error...should be e39 and not e30. Based on description of your car and now priced 40 -42k, it is certainly a good buy.

Its a type and tq for correcting . BTW , i didnt have chance to fix the vanos seal to my e39 yet ... didnt had the time.. still with me and if anyone intrested .. buzz me.
