i wonder if there's any shop who has all the famous brands side by side. so that we can feel the difference on the spot....

We can park our car side by side, u can feel me, I can feel u..

I mean our tinting la! :motz: sunnypuan on Huper Optic, I on VKool Elite

Seriously, the films look different in the shop and on the car. Best see the real result on the car.

i like the first line best. we can sit side by side in ktv, then i feel your girl, u feel mine girl

I've had the opportunity to test Vkool Elite versus 3M Crystalline. Feel like 3M Crystalline lets less heat in... and works great with GPS, but Smart TAG fail. VKool Elite doesn't work with GPS but works with Smart TAG.

New Vkool shud have no problem with GPS or Smart Tag.
The infrared rejection (IR) is about 94%.

3M has about 97%+ IR and thats mean that our SmartTag
system could possibly not work with 3M.

Some say Vkool is much better but some say 3M is suite for them.
Whatever, the choice is in your hand.

Just to add a bit on 3M ..

Had mine installed for 1.6K - Crystalline. Not so Smartag frenly but i to me - this is the worst tint. My Myvi that usde Auto-Tint - cap ayam for Rm400 is better.

Why ?

1) It is still hot inside the car - can feel it when i touched the screen
2) Glare to the max. The sun is extremely bright
3) Night glare - incoming headlights
4) Front screen greenish and rear screen purplish .. wtf ?

have also compared with other cars on 3M - more or less same-same

No choice - got to rip it off and perhaps go for V-Kool. Need to protect the seats :top:

Yup, have the no.4 problem with my customer before. Until then, I stop install Three-M product.

I was told that RikeCool and V Kool are from the same company - just different grade? Anyone care to confirm this? I use ecotint RayBarrier btw - never had a problem with it. I first used it with my Smart... then got it for my udm.

Nope, they are not the same company. Macam langit dengan bumi.

V-Kool is the big US company and they produce their own tint film..

RikeCool is just a product name and AFAIK, they dont produce their own film
and just import an OEM film from US or other place.
