Hi guys,What are people's thoughts on reducing the rear camber to mitigate uneven rear tyre wear? For normal every day driving, the default BMW rear camber causes the inner bit of the rear tyres to wear through very quickly. I suppose in a straight line, a less negative camber would mean better traction for acceleration and braking?Only if you're tracking the car, would a more negative camber come into use when cornering hard around a circuit. What are your thoughts/views? Thanks.

I've heard of story from 1 workshop where this unker with an E30 who complained about this uneven wear. Then one smart alec tyre shop suggested to mod the rear trailing arms to get 0 camber... after that the car doesn't track stably even on the straight.. That unker eventually have to replace the 2 trailing arms bcos the mod done was not reversible...

performance rear wheel drive saloon are made with -ve rear camber to have good traction on the straight and at the corner... My E30 is running -ve 2+ camber and I'm not complaining.. hehehe.. But maybe I'm running 15" rims and I flipped the tyres when the tyres reach about half its usable treadwear..

Incorrect toe setting can also cos excessive tyre wear.. So don't just blame it on the camber...
