From my experience with my E46 325i, the rear tyres should wear out at a slightly faster rate than the fronts.

c square, are your front and rear tyres of the same brand?
yups, they are... and of the same age as well. Changed them all at one go

Yup check the allignment maybe running too much toe hence tyre wearing out more on the outside

Maybe its an indication you need to lose weight? haha! :)

you guys run so low psi?

man, i remember a report years ago stating that 34psi was the best compromise for performance and durability.

But, i run 36F/36R.

Falken Azenis is soft compound tyres.. Anyway, the right measurement should be how far have u travelled in that 4 months...

i rotate my pilot preceda around 6000KM, both rear to front and front to rear. unfortunately after all the balancing and alignment, the mechanic say the car pull left when he release the steering on test drive. so have to swap again with the right rear tyre. sadly, it pull to the left again, so finally have to swap back to original position for both the left side tyre. (imagine swapping both your right side tyre and not swapping for your left)

I prefer not to rotate and live with the wear.
i believe majority of us will rotate it, but what is your reason of not rotating?

So, guys...... any recommended shop to go to that can do a good alignment and "toe-in" job? :dunno:

Not in order of preference but you can try:

- GS on Jln 222
- Sunny in Taman Megah, PJ
- Ah Wah in Taman (i forgot the name), off Old Klang Road.

:) So guys, for our RWD udm which tyre wear faster? front or rear?
Another thing I just did allignment 2 days ago. Today I've just changed 2 new tyres and put it in front and the other two(1 month old) at the rear. Now my steering not centre and allignment oso lari. Should I change the older tyre back at front or do allignment again? BTW now I'm running Conti Sport Contact 1 (new) front and Toyo T1R (1 mth) at rear.

C-square, sori hijack little just wan to share experience and get help.
