As per title of the thread, anyone can share their experience using TW's version of rinse free polymer-based car wash? Found 'em on the shelf of a hypermarket today. Cost about 1/3 the price of Optimum NR.Am an avid user of Optimum's NR since 2010 and been really satisfied with the product, only 1oz (about 1 cap) for 1/3 bucket of water is enough for 1 whole car. And it does gives you the water beading effect after the wash. However, problem about ONR is it's not commercially available in malls/hypermarkets, only at online dealers and of course our club vendor Detailien. Are they as good as Optimum? TW's version do share the same color and scent as ONR. Wondering are they the same thing. TW recommend to use 4oz (4 caps) per 1/3 bucket of water. About 4x more the concentration required by ONR.

Hi wingzee, I bought TW RF for RM30.59 at Tesco last Saturday when a friend of mine recommended me this using the same exact first picture you showed here.

Here's my review:
4oz is about 7 caps or 118ml and 2 gallons of water is about 8 litres. If you use the conventional 5gallon bucket, the mixture will beabout nearly half of the bucket.
I didn't rinse my car and using 2 buckets system. I soaked mitt for a while then run 1 pass to test and it wasn't really clean, had to run multiple passes sometimes to get rid of tiny dirts. I guess I should use microfiber towel instead of mitt. 1 single pass could wipe all the dust, I did about 2-3 passes just to soak more mixture on my car. It doesn't dry too fast or too slow, it's just nice timing to rinse the mitt in the 2nd bucket with water-only and then to dry the panel with another microfiber towel. So don't have to panic of leaving marks or stain or too wet to dry+buff.

I did the whole car and still left half of the mixture, so I used for the wheels with a dirty towel, I tried to waste it more, yet still left half of the mixture.
So I reckoned that I should use less quantity the next time. Like you mentioned, maybe just 4 caps and 1/3 bucket.

The result, it's shiny yes, but nothing to shout about. I feel the glossiness is about the same from Kit or Polyglaze. In fact the wax layer looks thin and doesn't have the watery gloss feel from Kit. But then again, might be my technique wrong with multiple passes and also my previous car was black color, now mineral grey.
So worth it or not, my car looks really clean and shiny and for RM30.59, it's quite ok considering my porch is clean and first time using rinse free, I must say it's really convenient and fast to complete the job.

I am not in favor of this product as I found out that it cannot remove simple stains, I will discontinue this product after consumed the remaining.
