Time to change to e90

Hi e90s members,


I am currently using e36..
Grew tired with the breakdowns and repairs.. i think is time to let it go. age sudah 24 tahun ..
Going to look for e90 320i .. wanted 6 potter but still abit out from my budget..plus dont feel like tekan tekan anymore .. just comfort drive
any advice if i can swap to 6 potter engine if one day i decide to break my vow & wanna harass my soon to be 2nd wife?

minimum RM 120k , cannot .. over budget .. My max also go up to 90k only. Have to allocate some for repairs and checkup once handover

Nowadays a 2007 E90 325i M Sport is RM90k. Check out mudah and carlist.

Good news Trent ! There is a BMW 850i E 31 with a huge 5000cc engine that is under classic road tax rate up for sale for only RM78K (still can bargain). Based on your budget, you still have 12k for repairs if any as owner claims to be in mint condition! Do let us know if you buy it over.

That's a sweet ride YF ! But unfortunately that's a piece if i buy , i will not drive the V12 .. haha for legacy material. I am looking for e90 for daily commute and also outstation drives. My e36 that day stuck in jam during the terrible flood period, Segamat > Kl took me 6 1/2 hours. I think that was the killer also..

Anything is possible......swap 4 to 6 and even 8 pots. It all depends how deep $$$$ is your pocket.

Cannot .. I think i reduce my budget till 75k to 80k and leave the rest for pre-repairs before driving.. I takut koyak

For my case, i purchased E90 320d year 2010 last September 2014. After 4 month driving it, there is no issue or major repair to the car. Just continue change engine oil and other preventive maintenance. I think diesel car is more reliable and also important not to buy car older than 6 years to avoid surprise. My 2cent.

Trent. Try to get the E90 325i. Its really worth it. Not much difference also.

I just bought E90 325i recently with iDrive after test drive both 320i and 325i.

The different its like sky and earth man.

Also E90 325i halfcut will cost u arm and leg if u want to change the engine later.

i'm not dare to mention any car dealer here. its depends on luck bro. do bring friend who is expert or at least familiar with E90 model.

As for my ride, no major problem so far. Just some minor leaks here and there but already rectify.

Yea will do bring a mech .. and true enough like what you say. Depending on luck. Hopefully i am able to find my ride soon. Whether is 4 potter or 6 potter , my main concern is comfort and long distance drive. Nevertheless let fate decide haha :love:

Well if want comfort, avoid looking at M-Sport spec....
