Temperature Rising, but radiator is ok!!!???

Now.... for those of u who have this 3/4 temp thingy.... go the easiest route by checking on the thermostat 1st.....

Your mech might have added more coolant kot? :dunno: Me using ori BMW coolant and is dark bluish green....

No la...mech top up with plenty water only..no coolant involved..me also BMW coolant. I think, b4 this the coolant not mixed properly, now mix laio lor...beome dark blue...

gentlemen,
i'd just like to share my recent experience with temperature rising

first off ,it was the water pump.
kaput,got a new one then it was fine

then it was the fan,
got that replaced and it was fine too

not long after,the temperature still kept on rising
at this moment i was already going nuts(what else could it be?)

then my mech serviced the radiator,flushed it n added some coolant
it was fine again...


after two weeks the drama came back again
now i'm getting really annoyed n also confused
water - ok
fan - ok
water pump -ok
could it be a faulty termostat


finally i got the answer
apparently my ride didnt have enuff earth wiring
can u believe that
all my mech did was just add an additional wire to earth the damn thing
to my suprise even my speedometer yg dah lama tak jalan suddenly works perfectly now
my horn which usually sound like a kancil now sounds like a real beemer horn

problem solved finally,but i do hope i wont have face this prob again
temp is sitting comfortably now at 1/4 n moves just a slight notch

funny thing was,my temp reading b4 was almost red if stationary but when i drove the car it came down to half almost instantly,thats when i suspected it has to be the wiring,kalau tidak hangus la engine aku by now
