e30m40: water level & temperatur rise fast!

hi e30 experts;recently my ewater temperature rises very quickly when i am stuck in a jam. the temprature rises to 3/4 mark! this has never happened before in a similar situation. sensing that it is no usual, i drove it last night to a gas station to check it.i decided to safely open the radiator cap. and i found that the water rises to the very top - very hot! i also noticed traces of water (rust) flowing out of the area where the TPS is. yes, a new TPS was recently installed to fix idling problem. the idling problem was fixed but the water level and water temperature rose!this morning, i checked the water level cold and found that some water is lost from the radiator - it's now below the marking.what could have happened? could it because water leaks from the area where TPS is installed?selespeed

check

1. clutch fan, ensure both speeds working
2. radiator leaks maybe
3. the small bleeding valve under your fuel rail, maybe crack already

if the water level drops, i'm sure u cud visibly inspect where it leaked from

it cud be other things, i let the others chip in their thoughts

the culprit is the cracked bypass water hose. well, 47 bucks to fix with a new one, labor included! ouch!!!
