Steps to open up DME ECU box on E34

i'm planning to chip my e34 but i'm a complete newbie at how to open up the dme ecu box (correct steps, latches to release etc) so that i can get at the serial # of the original ecu so that i can use the info to place an order.is there a pictorial step somewhere on the web for this?
