Rusted seat ....????

BMW should give us rebate for our manhour costs - we waste time to deal with their defects. :39:Maybe we need a petition..
 
I agree with that proposition. All the hassle in going in and out of the service centre, not once but several times, is a complete waste of our time!
 
However the feeling of sending in the car after weeks of owning it = priceless

My family asking me why so much problem = priceless
 
Oh dayumm.. these are sad sights for a car which worth lots of hard earned money for our brothers here. Hopefully BMW do something about this. Is there a way for Global BMW to be triggered with this issue?
 
The problem is, most ppl are complaining to the dealers and not to the right channel.

Anyone who is unsatisfied with their car should write to BMW AG and BMW Malaysia directly. Make them known of the issues. I have done my part but I can't make myself heard if I am doing it just by myself.

You are correct!
Even by leaving a comment on FB, they will usually reply you latest the next working day!
 
best-nya, just called me and told me i can only get back my car coming monday earliest. and i sent in this wednesday.

Bad press is bad for business.
I message them privately instead of airing them publicaly.
They got back to me within a couple of hours. Next day I receive email from SC parts manager to let me know parts "status".
Mosts businesses FB page will delete "unfavorable" posts.
 
Same problem here. Both my front driver and passenger seat frames are rusty. Unbelievable. SA from Wearnes promised to claim new seats for me. Now waiting for the new seats to arrive. How about the back seats frames, how to check if the same problem. Anyone check their back seats?
 
haiz, just got back my car. Now hinges ok. But under seat still rusted after new parts changed. Have to claim again.​
 
It's a material failure, if the replacement part made from same material, you'll get the same result. I checked my 2007 E90 seat, already 5 years old, no such problem.

wow thats pretty bad. at least mine's not as rusty as that
