So today i wake up in the morning only to be confronted with the situation of my dad's car as per the picture attachment. And right in front of my house too. Now i get witnesses coming forward saying they saw the culprits when the easiest thing to do at that time was to call the police. But cannot, very scared laa..And what of the Police? Reported the matter to them and all the cops could say is "sudah biasa".Yah everything here already sudah biasa. My E30 foglight, trims all already stolen also before but of course, it's all "biasa" for them. Not in a good mood.

OMG... very sorry to hear that. I guess my old cars also can't be considered safe... wonder if my lock nuts can help prevent that...

The rims stolen were the Volk Racing ones like in this pic, except instead of the gold in the middle it was a graphite black.

Sigh...

droid: wat area are u staying at? anyhow, on x-mas eve, one of my fren's members were out partying at hartamas. One of them decided that he had enuff of drinks and rolled out first on his own towards bangsar for TT while the rest of his buddies wrap things up with the bills, etc and were suppose to follow and meet up with him there. Enroute to bangsar, he decided to chill (becoz of d alcohol consumed, he needed to chill) at one of the bus stop beside d main road right before the flyover leading into kerinchi link.

After a short while, a pack of rempit came... surrounded his car before he could even jump inside. He kicked one of the rempits down and ran dangerously across the wide main road... then ran for cover. They broke the dude's spanking brand new civic and guess wat they stole? a CD.

That's it... a freakin CD.

What has the world become?

Thats why they invented the bull bar in Australia...
Very few motorbikes in Australia :p

A bullbar (also roo bar or nudge bar in Australia) is a device fitted to the front of a vehicle to protect it and its passengers from damage in a collision with an animal (or 100cc Motorbke). They vary considerably in size and form, and are usually made of welded steel or aluminium tubing, and, more recently, moulded polycarbonate and polyethylene materials. Due to the number of deaths and injuries caused by cars with rigid metal bullbars (in 2000 some 2,000 deaths/year and 18,000 serious accidents/year in Europe), the sale of metal bullbars was banned by a European Union Directive.

Although studies have shown bull bars to cause an increase in the risk of death and serious injury to pedestrians(or 100cc Motorbke), modern energy-absorbent polymer-based designs are less hazardous to pedestrians, with some having been shown to be safer than the same vehicle without a bullbar.

The "bull" in the name refers to cattle, which in rural areas sometimes roam onto roads and highways. Kangaroos are a primary hazard in some areas, hence the alternative name "roo bar."

A few weeks ago, some guys stole the underground phone cables. They opened the man hole right in front of my house cut it and dragged it out. In front of my house with the street lights right on top of their heads. These guys are watching too many mission impossible sequels I guess... tak takut langsung. A few months ago, some guys smashed car windows to steal anything they think can sell inside the cars. What has our country turn to?

Bro i stay at PJS 1. The street where the car was is brightly lit but still it happened.

Recently a friend of mine had her kancil broken into in subang (near the macdonalds in front of sunway pyramid) and all that was stolen was a can of coke.

The poor girl was so distraught. They smashed her window just for a can of coke?

As usual the police blamed the incident on her with stupid questions like "why u park there" (parking bay wat, then park where summore, stupid? On your head?), "why subang?" (uh..because she stays there? What are you, a retard?), "do you know why the only took the coke" (because the culprit was thirsty? Or just plain mean? Do i look like Nostradamus? Go and investigate lah!) although they acknowledge that there are gangs and syndicates running around all over the place.

And of course, after taking the report, they verbally closed the matter by saying it's "biasa".

And that's what really pisses me off. Everything to them is "biasa".

So what the hell are they really there for now? Angpows and festive seasons? Walking around cockily with an M16 pointed up instead of down? (yes its true. Look out for it. Some of them do this although weapons should be pointed down at all times. A safety catch is not enough.)

Everything's going to hell in a handbasket.

Yah bro you're right. That and time to upgrade alarm systems.

Cheers!

BTW i hear that there's a scanner that thieves use to detect electronic items like laptops in cars, even if the laptop is in the boot/trunk. Does anyone know if this is true?

PJS area is a rough neighbourhood.

The police knows it, everyone knows it but yet criminal activities go unabated.

My ex-colleague got his Perdana stolen, and prior to that his wife whom was driving the new camry got car jacked right in front of their house.

So, the policeman was not lying when he said Biasa!!

Most people usually carry laptop during their course of working. When they parked their car, they usually take their laptop which is put on the passenger and take it to put into the boot. Unfortunately, they are not aware that someone might be watching them.

So beware when you put the laptop into the boot when you park your car.
