Nope. During my recent service still can't do the update. That was about the 23rd of last month.

Perhaps you should now try raising this issue with BMW Voice. It might help speed things up, hopefully...

i dunno if it helps ... but i retrofit a front & reverse camera by juz installing an interface tat allows av input on the idrive system.....it cost around rm3500k include labour... and around 6 - 7 hrs of labour.....btw, im driving a 2010 E89 .....

Any idea whether this will work for the 2012 F10?

Have any sifu manage to install front view or surround view cameras on F10 ?

Interesting to note that people using the active steering for the first time will have this problem, my wife made the same mistake with my last BMW when she underestimated the turning angle - similar mistake, similar car to boot . My condolences to your scratches, but look on the bright side, parallel parking will never be the same again with active steering.

oh yeah the damn proton was parked next to my car(i.e it wasnt moving)......while turning left to come out of the carpark, I turned to early so rubbed the two doors against a parked proton (very malu one)

Been thinking hard for diesel engine, nothing wrong but the engine sound. I got original reverse camera fixed, RM5100. Quality of the camera is very good, pricey!

Btw, anyone upgrade anti roll bar?

Paid RM4600 for my reverse camera at TS Ipoh.

As for anti roll bar I am waiting for Ultra Racing to come up with it. I think our 520d's rear end is too soft and rolls a liitle too much. Maybe you can send yours to UR to make the first one. Not convenient for me as I am from Ipoh.

Seriously? Ultra Racing on a BMW? Do a quick search online, you'd find that there has been quite a few conti owners that has had "issues" with the ARB's that was bought direct from UR. Don't be cheap, go with known brands that has undergone proper R&D and testing.

I live in Brunei and getting a 528 coming in soon. Does anyone know of an authorised bmw dealer close to Brunei where I can get the original bmw video module and reverse camera installed?. If so at what price?

Asked my BMW dealer here and they are hesitant to do it but will keep on pushing since many of the bmws such as the x3, x5, 7series have reverse cams and if damaged or defective, they would need to do some replacements on the parts anyways.

Further can anyone tell me the approximate cost of installing the 10.2" idrive system with the 80gb hdd in malaysia? thanks!

BMW MY is having a promo for the F10 reverse camera - RM3800. But all in price after installation is RM4500. Having it done this Thursday.
