If the lines appear at the Bottom or Top most of the screen, you could shift the screen position to upward or downward via the setup button in multimedia interface module. So those lines will disappear from your physical screen.

I am considering to install the ori BMW f10 reverse camera. Can any of you already did installed the reverse camera to share your though and opinion to advice does it make different and did the reverse camera useful? Recommended to add or not.

hey bro, the camera in the f10 is really good, especially when u reversing near a drain and small curb.. easier to see and together with ur pdc, perfect combo.

Had just installed my reverse camera. All I can say is that it's great. There's the green lines that follow your steering turns, it shows the angle yr reversing in. Also there are vertical boxes that comes up in different Colours (green, yellow and red) that show when you are near an object. The old reversing thing, I.e the picture of the car from plan view, with the bars still appear on the side. All in all I really liked it.
Took them 2 days to install though as they said there was tons of work to do with the cabling up the reverse camera....

Got it for 4500 (inclusive of labour)at ingress. They had a promotion on. Not sure if it's still ongoing. Normal price I understand is 6500.

randy, PDC is the reverse sensor on the front n rear of ur car..hehe.anyway if u wanna install the reverse camera in ingress, u can look for me...lol

i dunno if it helps ... but i retrofit a front & reverse camera by juz installing an interface tat allows av input on the idrive system.....it cost around rm3500k include labour... and around 6 - 7 hrs of labour.....btw, im driving a 2010 E89 .....

Still waiting for my reverse camera. Maybe stock arrive Ipoh TS next week. Apparently got orders for 4 units. Will wait for the 3rd or last one. Don't want to be white rat as first time being fixed at Ipoh hehehe

Don't worry I get mine done perfectly at TS juru Penang. It was really great and best reverse camera I have seen so far.

Hey Guys just an update. Reverse camera working fine, but me and a buddies F10, the voice commend doesnt work after installation of the reverse camera. Feedback from the SC was that there appears to be some software issues. They are awaiting feedback from BMW.

Anyone have similar issues?

Mine just gone in this afternoon for reverse camera and 2nd service. Mileage now over 14k and less than 3 months. Worry my BSRI finish before 2 years.

Hi , Me too have the same problem Voice commend not working, and after check was told after CNY they will have an updated version to fix this problem. May be new OS haha.

Mine has the same issue. IMHO, the picture quality not as good as the Harrier's.
