Cool! The next 3er should have the brake energy regeneration system that is coming out in the new 5er too. BMW always sets the bar and Merc, Lexus and Audi have to follow. :top:

How do we know the Dynamic Brake Light System kicks in?? I was told it works during hard braking at speed above 80km/hr.

I guess my next assignment is to have my wife to drive at 80km/hr or faster and I will follow her from behind and verified it when she hits the brake!

HI Tango 1800, i experienced the same rear right indicator malfunction as well! I am surprised there are so many experiencing this. My car is only 8 months old and being a typical Malaysian, it was hardly used!
Took it to IA and thought it was just a matter of changing the bulb! Waited one week for the replacement of the whole back light, apparently from Germany. Should be good for another 8 months!

Is the rattling sound like a piece of metal sliding on a plastic and coming from the door / side front aircon area and most obvious when you brake?

Yes, i can hear this metal sliding sound also....but its not coming from the door....its coming from the front ashtray. At first i thought it came from the coins that i put in the ashtray...but after removing everything in the ashtray.....i can still hear the metal sliding sound everytime i take a right or left corner.

Anyone experiencing this?

tango1800, although it seems to be from the front ashtray, but it's not. Listen again, it's more like near the steering/right air-con vent area. i removed all my stuff from the door too. Yet, I can't locate it. Well, another 2000 km to go before I go for service. Then, hopefully can resolve it.

Bro, in my case it was definitely a coin in the ashtray cover slot, because I could see it with a torch and could move it around with a plastic cable tie. But the space was just too small to fish it out. Tried to push it to the side with the cable tie, but couldn't. Like tango1800, it would slide left and right irritatingly whenever I turned the car. Finally went to an empty parking lot and cornered so hard a few times that it fell to one side of the binnacle and is no longer a bother. Now I'm careful not to overfill the ashtray with coins.

Had the same rear right indicator fault about a month after i took mine went to AB penang and changed the whole light and back on my car within an hour...so is it a batch of manufacturers defect on the rear right light unit?

Cricked your neck yet bro? At this point I should add that I also used a small mirror together with the torch. :D

It's useless even if you spot it anyway, there's no way to dig it out if it's there. I asked my SC at IA and he said cannot remove the ashtray cover without removing the binnacle - one day job, own cost. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realise that the ROI on spending a few hundred bucks to retrieve 20 sen is ridiculous.
