Fuel Problem

Hey guys,2times already my e46 stopped at the middle of the road..The worst on highway..bcoz of no fuel..BUT the problem is,the fuel indicator indicates at 1bar..Even the warning light didnt show up..The amount of fuel shows that it still can go around 90-120km..U guys have any idea? Right now,when im travelling,before the fuel indicator reach 1bar,i have to refuel..It sucks ! :beaten:

could it be the fuel pump? if true, I think it cost around RM 500 to change a new set for E46 318

Yeah,might be fuel pump or "floater" not functioning properly. :huh:

it's very common in the e46's.. the reading on the fuel gauge is not accurate.. happened to my friend's 325i..

why dont u monitor how far you travel and always pump when u done like 300km.

carrying 1 bottle of fuel isnt exactly safe, depend on how you store it.

or lease a Petrol Tanker always following you at the bacl

very common in E46??? how to chk whether if it's not working proper then??

my fuel low indicator lites up when it's slightly below the last bar....normal then?
