Radiator change of F10 528I L6

Hi All,Wonder any member did have their car"s radiator change under BSRI?I have just change mine due To water leak of radiator,my car is 18 month old,few days ago message pop up and ask to top up collant,i top up 1.4liter then only mange to level back std water volume.Call AB jb and they have the radiator change for me within 2working days.Today when having lunch with friend,he mentioned his friend"s 6mths old F10 528I already claim 2 radiator from AB,wonder if this is common issue for F10?Cheers!!!

I am having the same symptom. Two weeks ago message pop up "top up coolant". Today I check the coolant level and the level is low. I suspect there must be a small leaking. Mine is F10 523i August 2010. Mileage 85k. If I am mistaken, the warranty period is 2 plus 1. Can I still place a claim? Can anybody assist me?

Same, mine was replaced last month, my car only travel 45k and only 16 months old.

Mine was a 523i F10.

Seems like its a very common problem.

Had similar problem with my previous E60, leaking just a few months after warranty period. AB gave goodwill discount (because just after warranty period). Owned my E60 for about 5 years, replaced radiator twice.

Guys,

This is not a cheap car on the road. With this kind of radiator leaking problem within a period of three years is unacceptable. Easy for BMW to say "radiator leaking, need to replace". We are talking about the quality that we have to pay for it. We need to know the root cause of the problem, due to what and what is the preventive maintenance. Somebody who has the contact please help to highlight this issue seriously.

Seems like the radiator problem is factory defect. My car 523i bought from Ingress Auto Damansara in Year 2010 Aug with 63k mileage. Last 2 weeks i am having problem with cooling system which computer shows coolant level is low. After fill in 1.5L distilled water it backs to Max. Today i check again i can top up another 300ml to fill it back to Max. I went to my friend's workshop which i always send my old car for repair to jack the car up to check where is the leak. After open the cover from bottom we saw the leak is from the radiator. Do u guys think should i go back to dealer or send find alternative BMW repair? Since the car already 4 years plus...

Did you observed on your car over last months any engine overheating symptoms or did you noticed any radiator fan malfunction like loud radiator fan working for longer time than before or much often?
